O'Learys — Restaurant in Stockholm

There are many O'Learys in Stockholm and this place might be a the last place you want to go there. There are no structures and regulations. The waitress and waiters sees new customers and yet they wouldn't make any eye contacts nor go ups to them to offer helps nor explain to their customers that they need to just find their own seats.

You can't make any reservation online nor through telephone during the World Cup because customers would stick around (you find a lot of empty tables yet all of the chairs were gone). Also all the reservation slots through online are all disabled and they don't pick up their telephone).

I did spoke to one of the waitress (I have to stop her from going away) and she was not that friendly (gave me this "isn't it obvious" looks).

I am not sure if this is the only case during the peak season (since I did work in the restaurant and I know some waiters/waitress can't handle the stressful situations) but I hope to see improvement in the future) because the place looked nice and I do understand it's...

On Wednesday 21 of April 2021 was my friend's birthday and he wanted to drink some beers and eat a burger at o'Leary's, we arrived at 18:30, the hostess asked if we were eating or drinking, we said both, he showed us the tables available. We sat and order via de app drinks first. Around 19:10 we ordered food via de app because that is the only way you can order. At 19:30 the lady who was the manager I guess... started turning the TVs off, we asked her why did she do that because we were watching the game, she said they were closing. We said we just ordered food, she replied that there was nobody in the kitchen and that she would refund the money. If they were going to close earlier than the rest of restaurants in Stockholm why didn't they informed us? Why did not say last call? We were forced to leave the restaurant and try to find another one open to celebrate my friends bday! Awful way to treat customers!!! NEVER GOING...

The place is located in the centre and has several rooms, with many tables and screens. Several sport events are streamed but not many.

The food is expensive, quantities are small, and the quality is not great. I had a sirloin steak because the tenderloin was not available. I asked for rare and came medium rare. Not very rich in flavour, very small. Indeed the knife was bigger than the steak (look at the photo).

Wifi was slow and unstable.

The service is almost inexistent, you order with an app and they bring you food, sometimes not even knowing which table the order belongs to. No explanation of the menu, no welcome etc. What's the point of going out if no interaction occurs with the staff? My view.

However, the staff was helpful when asked.

But still, it was a waste of money.

I would not recommend, at least for dinner. Maybe for some...
