A late review, but it does have to be called out due to its unique experience we had in Stockholm. Visiting the Icebar in Stockholm was an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend for anyone looking for something truly unique! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff who provided us with warm capes and gloves, ensuring we were comfortable in the chilly -5°C environment. The entire bar is made entirely of ice, from the walls and furniture to the glassware, making it feel like you’ve stepped into a frosty wonderland.
The atmosphere was fun and vibrant, yet relaxed, with a cool (pun intended!) vibe. The ice sculptures and lighting added to the overall experience, making it feel like a winter fantasy come to life. The drinks were delicious and creatively served in ice glasses, and the bartender even customized our cocktails based on our preferences. Though the time inside the Icebar is limited due to the cold, it’s definitely worth it for the novelty and excitement of sipping cocktails in an environment unlike anything you’ve experienced before.
The Icebar in Stockholm is a must-visit for anyone looking for a fun, unique, and truly memorable experience. It’s a perfect blend of cool design, great drinks, and an unforgettable atmosphere. I’d definitely visit again next time I’m...
Read moreIn our weekend in Stockholm we thought that could interesting to visit the Icebar. From what I know you can find this kind of place in other cities around the world, usually city in country at nord, but for us was a first time, so we just caught the chance. The bar is literally outside the central station where you can find the entrance to Arlanda Express, the direct train to the airport. Don't pay attention to the sign outside because you have to enter the hotel and follow the path to the icebar. When you arrive the staff will give you a kind of poncho and some gloves to wear inside. The bar is small, it's a big room, of course everything is covered by ice and the is also some sort of igloo. The admission'price, a little too expensive, include a cocktail, that was very good. It seems that you can't order a second cocktail if you want and I think the reason is because you can stay in the icebar only 45 minutes. For us that time was more than enough because like I said the place is very small, and after you took some pictures and finished your drink you don't have many things to do. It's worthy? If it is your first time I think so because it's something inusual you can do when in Stockholm. A final advice: you have to book in advance to enter the bar, because there is a limit to the people who can stay at...
Read moreThe worst customer service I’ve ever experienced — I do not recommend this place.
I arrived a little after 1500 to try the infamous ice bar. When I walked in, there was a tour group of 40+ people. I stood quietly off to the side, but the staff member at the desk immediately yelled at me to wait because he was dealing with the group. Very unprofessional.
They were letting people in 10 at a time, which meant I would’ve had to wait over 40 minutes just to get inside for a single overpriced shot. I waited about 20 minutes to see if he might allow me to slip in, but he never acknowledged me again.
What really made me leave, though, was how the staff member treated the guests. He was aggressively yelling at people as he rushed them to put on coats and gloves before entering. It was uncomfortable to watch, and I decided to cut my losses and leave.
I wish I could give this 0 stars, but 1 is the minimum. If you’re going with a small group, expect to be ignored at best—and yelled at throughout the experience. All this for $30...
