A must-visit for any traveler to Stockholm, Phil's Burger offers a fantastic experience with a few minor quirks. Situated overlooking a bustling city square, the restaurant boasts a truly stunning view that sets the stage for a memorable meal. The interior is thoughtfully decorated, creating a welcoming and stylish atmosphere, and the background music is perfectly curated—loud enough to be enjoyable but soft enough for easy conversation.
The food itself is delicious. I can highly recommend the tacos, which were flavorful. My only suggestion for improvement would be to serve the food a bit warmer.
One thing to be aware of is the service style. It's a counter-service establishment, so you need to order at the counter. As a tourist, this wasn't immediately clear and could lead to a long wait at your table if you don't know the system. A small sign or mention from the staff upon entry would be a helpful improvement.
Despite these small points, Phil's Burger is a fantastic spot with great food and an unbeatable atmosphere. It's definitely worth checking out on your...
Read moreI had a burger and fries. Lets start with the fries that taste like those frozen fries in the grocery store that you prepare in the oven, alot of places have similar fries unfortunately. Lets go to the burger, it was called limited edition phill or something. The only thing limited about it was the Mac sauce that they put on it. The buns were ok, the patty was full of grease im talking about venezuellan oil level grease. The grease over powered everything. I tried the meat with the grease taken away using a paper towel and it tasted just like those frozen patties some cheap food trucks had or some poor quality beef. They should rename the burger the average grease burger. Honestly its almost comparable to the big mac (in a bad way) but its four times the price. The staff were average/above average. The atmosphere was a roundabout and a homeless person infront of pressbyrån. Honestly i have had Worse so thats why the food gets 2 star and everything else 3 because i am a gentleman. ;) at this price point with this quality you are better off going to max, burger king...
Read moreWhen we entered, their was a long line to the bar. It was unclear if we could just go sit down and order that way or that we had to wait in the line, but after asking a young waiter we apparently had to order at the bar first. Luckily the ordering goes pretty fast and waiting for your order doesn't take to long either.
The burgers were really good. Even the chicken burgers, which seemed like real meat and not grinded patties. However, the fries were maybe a bit to small and tasted rather dry. Still, it didn't ruin the experience because of the tasty burgers. Would surely come back here.
You could also eat a halloumi burger, but that will be for another city trip perhaps.
There's an English version of the menu too, and the menu can also be found online if I'm...
