I visited this restaurant a week ago just to be sure to have a pleasant stay for lunch with my friends. The response was that, come back just a little before your lunch and we will fix it for you, I loved that answer. I arrived week later early on and it was 100% the behavior I wanted to avoid by my visit week ago. They said: You have to wait until your friends come since I wanted to pay the bill. So I waited. Then I said: if I sign in and then I get to choose the table. Answer: yes, but then you get your food before them, OMG! Ok, then I wait again. I asked : Could I choose the table for 4, then the answer was, no you are only 3. What is that I’m doing wrong, please let me know? Ok, fine. My friends arrive in time. Then I ask again, can I choose my table. NO is an answer again. We ended up somewhere back with 6 seats, no view, bad painting, tight and no air conditioning. I’m an accountant & if you do the calculation: table of 6, sitting only 3( loss 3) or table of 4, sitting 3( loss 1)..! Anyways, you HAVE to listen the CLIENT, not your own rules, if you want us to come back. I’m not coming back ever again nor my company. Bad waitresses doing their own rules out of nothing. I’m going out for lunch tomorrow again and it’s NOT going to be this place of Nightmare ( Underbar) again. Too complicated. Let me know, when you changed your rules, please. I do like the Cook! No stars for this place. Good food, bad, bad service, so sorry for...
Read moreBeautiful (I think newly renovated) middle easter restaurant! We came here once before about a year or so before - but now it's got a whole new look with a wine cellar vibe, cushy booths, and modern ambiance.
My sambo and I walked up on a Tuesday night with no reservation, at around 6:30pm and were able to walk in. We ordered the 16 appetizer course with grilled meats and a bottle of the house red wine.
The food was unbelievably good - they had such an array of dishes, with a few different hummus, creamy yogurt, fried cheese roles, a few different fried dumpling like foods, and the best cauliflower I've ever had. The grilled meats were cooked perfectly, with the tenderloin being super tasty.
I'd definitely recommend the set 16 dishes for dinner - but also don't eat at all all day because it's enough food for a few meals.
Our server was super friendly, and when we couldn't even eat the baklava that came with our food he wrapped it up so we could take it home.
Definitely a great dinner date, friend date, or just a fun dinner restaurant with food that could be contoured for many different kinds of diets.
Will...
Read moreArrived on Monday just before 9pm. Turned out they have new menu and is only in Swedish. Waitress was very helpful and started translating for us every starter but to save us all time we figured out there's a previous, similar menu in English on their website. Service was extremely friendly and professional. We ordered mains only as it arrives with four mezes and a salad plus choice of bulgur or chips (potato wedges). Both: vegetarian as well as lamb shish were delicious and we paid for both under 500 Kronas. It was our third evening in Stockholm and that was the best food we had and the cheapest by far! Kitchen closes at 10pm as in most of the restaurants here so beware. Waiting time under 20 minutes although restaurant wasn't very busy but on previous nights we waited for starters only around half an hour. All in all great job guys and thanks for...
