Went for solo dinner, made a reservation in advanced as I noticed this is a small place. Sat in the kitchen bar next to the action!
While looking at the menu I couldn’t decide as everything read so amazing until I was catched by the Pike-perch with choron aux crevette + couple of Oyster gratines as an appetizer.
While waiting for mains, delicious fresh warm bread + butter + glass of Italian Nebiolp from Piemonte help me to survive my wait.
While I was waiting for my main, I couldn’t stop seeing how dedicated and rigorous in technique are the cookers, passion and perfection thrown on each plate as I saw all of them waking to a happy customer. Even the smallest such as a misplaced salad leaf or different size breads were perfected.
My plates arrived, oysters amazing flavor and temp, and believe me I have tried USA east and wear coast fanciest ones when I lived in NY.
Finally the main arrived, well fashioned presented and delivered by the Sous Chef who invited me to enjoy my plates.
Moment of truth, fish had an amazing grilled-salty flavor with paired perfectly with my Nebbiolo.

Read moreReally average service and food. The service didn't pay attention to the customers. The main dish (meat) was a bad cut, not cooked as asked. An amateur can cook it better. In the end we got carrot cake. Very unfortunate choise. The bread and butter that was served in the beginning was frozen butter and cold bread bites.. No comment.
Further explanation regarding the service as well: I ordered Entrecote medium rare and although the restaurant was almost empty (we went at 10 in the evening), the dish didn't arrive for one hour. I realised that they gave the dish to a couple sitting next to us and I communicated taht to the waiter but at the same time my supposed dish was arriving. The meat was cooked rare, which confirmed my initial thought. I said to the waiter that this way of cooking is not what I ordered and they took the plate to cook it more. For anyone that knows about cooking meat, to cook again the meat makes no sense. They brought the dish back and it was, of course, no better. Obviously, it's a wine place. Snacks / starters options are scarce as well. I've decided to take cold meat plate (3 kinds of meat) and waited for about 40mins to hour! Ok, maybe the reason is that two of five of my friends ordered main courses, but they didn't even ask if I want that plate now or later. There were no tables, so we were sitting at the bar. Saw my meat plate ready in 2 mins and then starred at it for the rest of time. Luckily, they have free buns for all the guests. Unluckily, some of the buns were a little big burnt. The meat was terrible. All three kinds. The beer is far from fantastic as well. Main courses are nothing special too. The place was highly crowded and the sounds were too loud.
