I got the no added sugar hot black milk tea. It was good, but probably due to the quite unembellished flavor I picked it didn't really stand out from my other option in the city. They do have some unique looking flavors so those may make it worth going to this place specifically. The egg waffle was a bit dry, wouldn't order that again.
However the wait was quite long, about 30 minutes. It was fine for me as I was not in a rush, but I definitely wouldn't recommend this place if you're in a hurry or it's too cold to wait outside. The owner (or whoever was operating that day) was trying to go as fast as she could, I think the place is just really popular and eventually she will need more help to get orders out.
I like that there was an online COVID-safe ordering system, but wish customers didn't feel the need to crowd right next to the door as that defeated the purpose a bit. There was plenty of room to stand and crowding at the door won't make your order come any faster.
Overall I would stop by here again in nice weather if I'm in the neighborhood and don't mind a wait (there's a nice church/park nearby), but for a quick bubble tea in the city I'd probably drop by Oolong Tea House instead. It isn't that Oolong tastes better, just that for the flavor I like there isn't enough difference to make the...
Read moreOnly tried one flavor, classic pearl milk tea 30% sweetness and normal ice Large. Partner who's never had boba tea loved it. Over all it was great. Can't wait to try more flavours and combos. Agreed with the reviewer who said it was very authentic to boba tea houses throughout Asia. It was however difficult to find because it is as of now in a giant building under construction and it's a very small shop. Expect to order and go rather than sit down inside as every 20 year old female, her friends and moms in Stockholm will be giggling and taking up all of the few sitting spots. Still totally worth it anyway.
Update: Still delicious! Got Matcha and Earl Grey. 70% sweetness. Gonna get 100 next time because it's basically not sweet at anything under. However if you are taking it home a super simple fix is to hear up equal parts sugar and water, let it cool, then add a bit if the syrup and mix it in. Easier to add then take away sweetness. Staff is very busy since everything is made right there, but friendly and prompt. They also use less plastic by switching to papper sealed cups and cardboard straws. No spill sealing was very helpful taking the train home. Absolutely coming back and might order 5 small in various flavours since there are so many I've yet to try. Also cheapest bobs I've seen for the...
Read moreEDIT They could've chosen a better site to place orders. The last few times I've been there, I didn't get a receipt so I didn't even know if my order had been placed until I checked my Swish. I also feel like getting your drink takes way longer nowadays. And now you can't just walk up to the counter and pick up your drinks when they're done, you have to wait until a staff member comes to the front which is pretty frustrating if you're in a hurry.
I think Cha Talk is the best place for bubble tea if you wanna get the most value out of your buck, compared to most other places you get a pretty big cup for the price. They have tons of different flavors and toppings to choose from so you won't get bored. They also have waffles, which are very good but a little boring since you don't get any type of sauce...
