I've been here several times with my wife and my baby girl. The place is very welcoming, decorated with style, and located in a central place yet somehow is still quiet. The oweners are super nice, the coffee is great, and we love the chocolate-bathed pretzels. This place is one of those little hidden jewels that you shouldn't miss if you want a relaxed time with...

Came back a second time with he same friendly face who greeted me. They were very accommodating and prepared a chai tea latte for me. Please note they DO NOT OFFER MILK-ALTERNATIVES! I asked for a savory snack and they were baking vegetable and cheese tartlets which i was happy to wait for.

Am vergangenen Samstag war es in Basel ziemlich warm, und wir waren zu viert in der Stadt unterwegs. Auf der Suche nach einer kleinen Erfrischung sind wir spontan in die Leckerlimanufaktur Spalentor eingekehrt – und was für eine schöne Überraschung das war!

Ich wollte eigentlich nur einen einfachen Eistee trinken, doch der Besitzer hat mich direkt begeistert: Er bietet eine Auswahl an handgemachten Eistees, die man so nicht überall findet. Die Leidenschaft und Liebe zum Detail, mit der er seine Getränke zubereitet, spürt man sofort. Schaut euch das Bild an – manchmal sagt ein Bild wirklich mehr als tausend Worte!
