I recently visited this charming place! The staff were incredibly open and friendly, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a great lunch.

The food was nothing short of authentic and delicious.

This is the best (!) and most authentic Italian food you will get in Basel; not to mention the very reasonable prices.

You will be greeted with the biggest smile and a "Buon Giorno" and feel like family. Great food to take out (no indoor seating), I personally recommend one of the freshly made sandwiches: Reuben / Pastrami. Simple and excellent!

If you're looking for some delicious gifts this is also right to find some nice Panettone, Pasta etc.

Lucky enough it was only a 5 minute walk to the tiny shop and even though we went during it's opening, a line was already beginning to form. We were immediately greeted by the shop owner in Italian and although he spoke very little English, he was very friendly and even offered us a sample of the pastrami meat.
