The second we went there, not even next to the door, a man came to us said he was the security (he didnt look like it not professional at all) and asked private questions just because we are arab looking
He asked Why are u here How did u hear about it How long r u staying in basel Where r you from
Then he took our ID and went inside and closed the door of the museum behind him
He has no right to take our IDs without us
He left us outside while he made phonecalls inside for almost 10 minutes
Then i knocked the door and took my ID
Wasted 30 min of my time i do not recommend anyone especially arabs to go there because racism is unbearable
We were here on our honeymoon and we just wanted to go see a museum like every other museum!!

I didn't like the content of the exhibition and I especially didn't like the fact that there was no history about the Jews during world war II which I thought was an important component being that Switzerland was neutral. I was unimpressed that museum needs to be revamped or at least curated by Jews that are competent. I don't think the curator is Jewish and I think that the exhibition was totally lame talked about Jewish ritual and showed menorahs.
