Fantastic cafe, ice cream shop, restaurant, cultural center and coworking space located on a charming corner very close to Marketplatz (Basel's central square), in a beautiful building that once was bank. The diversity of environments, from the outdoor tables arranged in a beautiful and busy corner with a drinking water fountain, to the comfortable armchairs and tables in the gorgeous internal lobby (with classic marble details), match the variety and quality of the options offered in this unique place. Options ranging from coffees, ice creams, snacks, beers or nice drinks in the outdoor environment enjoying the movement of this charming part of town, to great meals in the cozy indoor lounge. All with fair and affordable prices due to the excellent quality of the products and the friendly and attentive service team. Ideal both for a refreshing break from sightseeing in Basel, for meeting friends or business meetings (free wifi in the indoor lounge), as well as for getting up-to-date on the local cultural scene and surroundings through the various pamphlets available there and the space's cultural program itself. Certainly one of the coolest and tastiest places in the center of Basel,...

But in Big-Basel one has those cynical moralists from Unternehmen Mitte, which is an utmost...

But they have free WiFi - which is always appreciated if you don't have a free-data plan for your mobile - and I love that they make an effort to sell mostly organic and locally produced food...
