Brasserie du Molard is located in the heart of Geneva’s Watch and Jewelry district, where you can enjoy window shopping, or spend a fortune if you wish. There is a large underground parking deck nearby which seems like the best option. The brewpub occupies the ground floor of a 6-story concrete building. In front are a few patio tables. In the arched front windows you can see the brewpub’s 2 shiny copper brewing vessels. In the center of the room are 3 tall copper serving tanks for their flagship beers - Blonde, Blanche and Ambree. These 3 can be tried on a sampler palette, which is served on a brass tower with vertical spiral holders and is topped with their red brew kettle shaped logo. They also usually have a seasonal beer, which was Biere de Noel when I visited around Christmas. In front of the serving tanks is a 15-chair wooden bar. Along the right wall are several booth tables and further back is a dining area with more tables. The walls are trimmed with wood and red fabric, and have historic black and white photos. There are a couple televisions for sports or music videos; otherwise classic background music is playing. Their cafe-style food menu consists of appetizers, salads, flatbreads, burgers, and sandwiches. They are open for morning coffee and snacks, and I was even able to enjoy an early beer! The service is adequate, perhaps typically slow. All in all, it is a decent brewpub with a...

Needless to say they arrived with cheap flavorless French fries and no vegetables (not even one leaf of salad). Everything was lacking of taste and spices, and when I shared our view with the waitress, she proposed us to salt the dish ourselves.
My children’s menus were the same - tasteless, with any flavor. My husband’s truite fish was okey, accompanied with the cheap can marinated peppers, but definitely we would never eat there again. The place is only good for sitting and having drinks, as you can enjoy the city center and the...
Read moreThis place is good for beer and flammenkuches.
Their burgers are completely over priced - you can get one in a luxury hotel for that price.
I had a negative experience with a waitress who could not take criticism - objective and made politely. She felt compelled to challenge anything i said, used sarcasm, bad faith and rudeness. It made me feel like I was not allowed to be dissatisfied and I should just shut up. Unprofessional, especially for Geneva s image in a touristy place.
I won't recommend you to avoid this restaurant, but I will recommend that management be more serious about staff training. Client criticism is an opportunity to improve and generate...
