Eating here was the lowlight of my trip to Geneva. Pro’s: Great location, meal photos in reviews look good. Why was this the lowlight? My wife ordered pizza, our waiter took her knife away. We had to ask for it to be returned. I ordered a seafood pasta, the penne exposed on the edge of the bowl was hard, presumably from being under a heat lamp for too long. We ordered a bottle of wine when we placed our dinner orders. It wasn’t delivered. The person that delivered our meals said “l’ll find out” but never returned. I had trouble flagging our waiter down after our meals started to ask him about it. He clearly forgot and left us without any drinks. He didn’t apologize. We tried to look past it and asked for two glasses of wine instead. He was nice enough to pour an additional splash our glasses (not a full pour) as he walked by serving others - things were looking up! When the bill came shortly after, he asked for a tip as he placed the paper in front of me. From the poorly prepared dish, to service that just couldn’t deliver, if I could take this reservation choice back, I would. Maybe just an “off” night, but given the string of events, I’d recommend booking somewhere else - there are too many amazing options in Geneva to justify the risk. Great...
Read moreThere’s so much to say… This restaurant truly has a unique location, and they know it. Unfortunately, their attitude towards customers leaves much to be desired. They seem to take full advantage of their prime spot, often appearing annoyed with guests waiting to be seated. Once you are finally shown to your table, the waiter barely cleans it and then makes you wait a bit longer before taking your order. When the food arrives, it comes in several separate deliveries rather than all at once. And when it’s time to pay, you have to ask for the bill multiple times, only to be met with more annoyance from the staff-without any attempt to hide it. But perhaps they don’t feel the need; after all, you’re just a tourist and unlikely to return. However, I am not a tourist, and I do plan to come back-if only to be a little annoying myself! I’ll make the most of their beautiful spot by enjoying a beer and soaking up the sun, if only for my own satisfaction. To be fair, there are some positives: I discovered a new bottled amber Italian beer, which I really enjoyed. The focaccia is basic, but I liked it as well. So, you see, I’m not such a difficult...
Read moreThe service is as worst as it can get. Racist and rude staff treating us like we were idiots, as if we don't know common sense. After trying to review i saw the comments about the service so it made sense as everyone was complaining about the service even though it has been a long problem. It was very unwelcoming and this is not the first time someone foreign said the service was bad. (Fabio) apparently doesn't like it when we asked to cut the pizza and he started cutting it at our table and said you could do it your self "its easy" well it isnt our job to do so. And the waiter that "welcomed" was the rudest and obviously did not like arabs (Zaharia or something similar). You should really take of this before your ratings drop even more. I saw a family leaving right sway when they noticed the unwelcoming staff. And (Fabio) just came and said I'm kind to cut your pizza i should charge you, again it is not our job to do so specially since the pizza is for a 6 yrs old kid. The price is very high considering the bad service actually bad service would better than what we got. Thats just the service, we were also served dirty...
