Le Pilier — Restaurant in Geneva

The place and food was okay, but the waitress intentionally mistreated us the beginning . She would leave us waiting to be seated for long time justifying that with her being busy, in her defense she was tiddening here and there in the cafe. Every time we call her even after we have been seated she would ignore us for a while and say she is very busy. Her attitude is not professional at all. She also didn’t bring my order fully, when I waited and didn’t see any order coming, I called her (and as usual she would ignore me for a while) she came and said that was your only order and there is no more. The gentleman working with her was truly professional and apologized on her behalf and asked if we would like to order that forgotten dish. Of course I didn’t want to delay my group by ordering and waiting...

It was the best choice for me and my colleagues at work to hold a farewell party at Le Pilier. Jonathan was so kind and helpful. We were almost 20 people, who mostly eat vegan and vegetarian dishes and this restaurant really served us with delicious food: starter with a mini buffet setup, main dish, and dessert. Overall, we were happy and contented with the customer service, the room setup, and the FOOD! Definitely a restaurant worth the try when you visit...

My colleagues and I had lunch yesterday. The food is excellent, it’s different than the usual Geneva fare, the choice is very nice and we could share a starter. They have the option of bottled filtered water. The tables are comfortable and nicely spaced out. Lunch time was very busy, a bit too noisy but nothing can be done there. The service was very good, they are all so friendly. And the coffee was very tasty at the end....
