Quai 10 — Restaurant in Lucerne

Quai 10 is an excellent restaurant on the main pier overlooking the Bay of Lucerne. The view on a summer evening is breathtaking, with the Bürgenstock scenery in the background, people passing in front of you and great background music.

The food was of very high quality. I had a cauliflower steak with harissa and nuts—an unexpected but delicious combination. The Alpine chicken breast was perfectly cooked, accompanied by fresh green vegetables and wonderfully creamy mashed potatoes. We also tried the pork chop, which was equally good. For dessert, the lemon tart and vanilla mousse were both outstanding.

Service was friendly and professional. Although a little slow at times—likely because the restaurant was full—it matched the relaxed pace you’d expect at a high-quality establishment like this.

We had a fantastic dinner at Quai 10, complemented by outstanding service. The team was attentive to every detail, friendly, and brought a great sense of humour to the evening. The drinks were excellent—highly recommend the Negroni and the Espresso Martini—and the food was absolutely delicious. With its perfect lakeside location and beautiful view, this place is a gem. Yumiiii! Where to start?? Service super courteous, efficient and friendly. Menu is quite small but was surprised with the variety. Lamb, octopuss, focaccia, and the zuchetti fritters. All delicious.
