First time visiting and already fell in love with this place. Decor- vintage traditional Taiwanese style. A throwback memory of how I grew up as a kid. Service- polite, clear, and precise introduction to the rules of restaurant and how we should order as a first timer. Flavor- love the Sichuan flavor hotpot with 2 reasons. 1. Numbing on the tongue is really similar to authentic Sichuan flavor. ( most other places have much stronger hot pepper taste only) 2. Soup was really tasty with a touch of Chinese herb. ( not the MSG) food ingredients are fresh and high quality as well.

The special minced pork rice is the traditional Taiwanese flavor with a touch of Sichuan pepper. Also good!

I was really glad that we found this Mah-la hotpot store in Dihua street. I like how they decor the store.

Very welcoming staffs and kind, quality foods, especially the soups! We tried 2 different kinds of soups, one of them is mah-la, one of them is Chinese Herbs, it tasted really good! And not like crazy spicy but...

I was really glad that we found this Mah-la hotpot store in Dihua street. I like how they decor the store. Very welcoming staffs and kind, quality foods, especially the soups! We tried 2 different kinds of soups, one of them is mah-la, one of them is Chinese Herbs, it tasted really good! And not like crazy spicy but warm and soft!
