One of the best casual Italian dining spots in Taipei. It’s incredibly popular and notoriously hard to book, but after visiting three times, I’m still amazed by the food every single time.
The starters are exceptional, every bite full of depth and balance. Take the tomato and mozzarella salad, for instance, it’s an absolute must-order. The natural sweetness of the tomatoes, the rich creaminess of the mozzarella, and the slight tang from the balsamic create the perfect appetizer to awaken the palate.
The foie gras toast is absolutely to die for. It’s rich, fragrant, and melts in your mouth, with the crispy toasted bread adding the perfect contrast. The dried fruit enhances the flavor of the foie gras even more, making every bite indulgent. The grilled squid is another highlight, deeply aromatic with garlic-infused oil, beautifully cooked to be crispy on the outside yet tender and bouncy inside.
Two starter dishes I tried for the first time completely blew me away. The fried fish with bread crumbs was simply brilliant, unlike anything I’ve had before. And the beef tripe with bread, served piping hot with a rich tomato-based sauce and melted cheese, was pure comfort food. The chewy yet tender tripe soaked up the sauce perfectly.
For the pasta, I’d say the Orecchiette won over the Gnocchi for me. The balance of textures and flavors was just right. The fresh, slightly crisp sweetness of the shrimp, the nuttiness from the pine nuts, and the shape of the Orecchiette, resembling small ears, all worked together beautifully with the sauce. The Gnocchi had a unique depth of flavor, with the chestnut’s sweetness standing out, but I think a little less saltiness would have made it even more well-rounded for my taste.
The risotto was another highlight. I had the uni risotto, and from the moment it arrived, the aroma of the sea and fresh sea urchin filled the air. The deep, briny richness of the sea urchin blended seamlessly with the perfectly al dente rice. The scallops, cooked to perfection, were plump, bouncy, and naturally sweet, adding another layer of texture and freshness. Every spoonful was pure indulgence—creamy, oceanic, and utterly satisfying.
I ended my meal with the braised oxtail—tender, aromatic, and deeply flavorful—an ultimate comfort dish that warmed me from the inside out. Meanwhile, my friends, who are lamb lovers, were in awe of how perfectly cooked the lamb steak was.

以這次人均2500來說,菜色表現覺得沒那麼值得 控制在1500或以下比較好
“好吃推薦” 🔸白旗魚/糖漬金桔/酸豆: 這道剛上看到生魚片,又偏單調 本來以為很普通 但生魚片處理的好,像果凍般軟Q,口感舒服 糖漬金桔、酸豆很好的幫忙增加層次 很有意思的想法及搭配 🔸油封雞胗: 跟常吃脆口的雞胗不同,質地很柔軟 橄欖油增加了風味 記住,要滴上辣油才是完全體 整個大提升,很讚
”還不錯“ 🔸卡布里沙拉: 最主要亮點就是那顆莫扎瑞拉 很新鮮,且風味立體飽滿 單吃就很讚 再搭上酸度較清柔的蕃茄與微苦的芝麻葉 🔸花滔沙拉: 火腿搭上酸甜的葡萄、蜂蜜、堅果碎 味道、口感都蠻豐富,不錯吃 🔸午仔魚慕斯: 第一次吃到午仔魚慕斯,蠻有趣 但還是更喜歡雞肝那款 另外麵包脆度小不足 🔸伊比利生火腿: 火腿香氣不錯 但有點疑惑跟習慣帶嚼感的不同 花滔的很軟 🔸黑糖奶茶: 蠻好喝,很香不膩 個人覺得黑糖可以不用,反而搶了奶茶的香氣
”正常表現“ 🔸煎牛肚: 外脆內軟的口感蠻有趣 不過外層是已經到有硬的感覺了 另外雖附有上蕃茄泥,味道上仍是不太夠 🔸鮪魚醬豬肉片: 豬肉柔軟不卡牙 鮪魚醬不夠香濃 🔸雞肝肉派: 覺得雞肝醬混合肉派不是很好的組合 會讓雞肝醬綿滑的口感消失 且花滔的雞肝醬濃郁度不足 🔸胭脂蝦燉飯: 蝦子表現正常,燉飯還不錯 🔸米蘭炸豬排: 豬肉吃了三塊,有兩塊易咬,一塊偏硬 有很輕微柴感,可惜沒肉汁 這種歐式炸豬排的脆糯麵衣,一直都沒吃很懂 還是日式的比較好吃
”普通“ 🔸西西里糖醋茄子: 味道有像麥當勞糖醋醬 只是個人覺得醋的比例有些太高 吃起來較有刺激感,不是很平衡 🔸煎小牛胸腺: 沒煎出脆度,只有軟的口感 🔸狂水煮魚: 湯汁味道偏淡,鮮味沒預期高 魚肉肉質蠻細 花枝、蝦子品質不太行,沒什麼彈性 🔸烤羊腿: 羊肉有明顯柴感,不太行 反而比較愛甜辣的紅咖哩醬與清爽的優格醬 再來是馬鈴薯餅與玉米 Rating:8.4/10 人均:$700
“好吃推薦” 🔸西西里冰糕: 冰糕扎實,甜度很棒 還撒上焦糖堅果 香氣、口感都很討喜 🔸千層蛋糕: 依喜好排序:芝麻草莓抹茶 它們家的千層能排進台北吃過的前三 🔸東北角小卷: 橄欖油將小卷自身海味更加提升 🔸彩色卡布里: 橄欖油加了不少,另外還有鹽及黑胡椒增添風味 再切開半流動的莫札瑞拉 味道很有層次,不會覺得單調 🔸油封雞胗: 咬下毫無阻力,相當軟嫩 跟印象中嚼勁的口感很有差異
“還不錯” 🔸紅酒燉羊膝: 肉質軟嫩,輕易就可以骨肉分離 完全沒有羊騷味 🔸松露野菇燉飯: 香氣夠,調味也平衡 米心硬度剛剛好 🔸薩丁尼亞麵疙瘩 🔸雞肝幕絲: 雞肝醬還不錯 但自身味道不如預期突出 麵包如果烤過酥脆會更加分
“正常一般好吃” 🔸普利亞豬腸肉末貓耳朵麵: 調味偏輕淡,缺少記憶點 🔸綜合炸海鮮
“普通” 🔸松露春雞: 吃起來有點柴感 配菜是馬鈴薯及蘆筍
比起主餐,覺得前菜、甜點表現更優秀 而且價格比預期還低了一截...

The food is awesome and 弗羅倫斯頓牛肚 is my personal favourite and I highly recommend it as an appetizer. It’s portion is good for two people to share.
Most of the other dishes I’ve tried so far have all been quite good so no need to worry about...
