I wanted a quiet cafe to finish my work and it was a great place. Small and quaint which means not many people jammed in there. The owner was extremely kind and thoughtful. Reminded me that only a certain seats come with sockets and also brought me a mouse pad after seeing me using a mouse. I really appreciated it. (Sad that they moved. Judging from the pictures people uploaded I thought I would be able to see an old house, which I am always fond of. But they loved not too long ago.)

溫習台中陽光普照的好「時光」 陌生城市偶遇舒適咖啡店和好書～ 旅途事後回顧，這些偶遇的記憶，總能輕易取代行前刻意規劃的目的地～ 結束餐後的台中中區建築散步，來到這間巷弄中偶然遇見的「時光」咖啡店，適度桌距與刻意留白的呼吸空間，配上店主人有趣而廣泛的藏書(可內閱)、復古選樂(ocean deep)，不留意便在此停留了三四個小時。 點餐時問了男主人吐司與司康推薦那種，他打趣回說吐司全台烤起來可能都差不多，但司康就不一定，腦波弱馬上點了司康和一杯檸檬咖啡。 咖啡好喝，而濕潤好入口的司康，讓我喜愛不已，返回台北前，特地返回店內外帶一份冷凍司康回台北❤️ 停留期間，看了一本女主人介紹的有趣迷你小書～「箴言」，裡頭一些隻字片語給了處在人生中場的我一些特別感觸，而翻閱另一本「那些陪我走過世界的故事」一些篇章，作者在旅途上與他方邂逅陌生旅人的對話，在2020這讓所有世人停下匆忙腳步，開始內省的時刻有了更多共鳴～ 那天店內午後先後來了幾組客人，有的是一些前來購買底片、攝影相關周邊的客人，其中一位看似常客的老紳士進屋和男主人用著親切台語話家常，那短暫的時光此刻回想還是很動人～ 在這裡時間流動的比平常緩慢，感官也跟著擴大延展，能在這樣繁華的都市裡，有個暫時好好休息的地方，無憾～ 再收入一家掛念的台中愛店❤️ 給愛咖啡、閱讀、攝影、放空和司康的你～ 造訪日：2020/12/12(六) #台中時光咖啡店 #台中愛店再添一家 #時間在此緩慢流動 #咖啡好喝 #司康濕潤好吃必點 #老闆藏書好多都想讀 #有攝影師叮咚的新作和舊作十年 #選樂是上世紀的經典歌曲 #兼販售底片與攝影相關周邊 #男女主人親切好聊

The name of this cafeteria literally means “time”. It’s a quiet coffee corner with light music just next to the busy Taiwan boulevard. Taichung main station is nearby. It has large windows with wooden frames and furniture made of recycled wood materials. A antique desk is in the center of this cafeteria with the collection of film cameras and empty film cassettes around the entire space. There is also a collection of photographers’ artworks and books related to the reconstruction of the historical Central District for sale. 這是一間隱身在台灣大道旁安靜巷弄中的咖啡店。這裡有搭配喧鬧原木窗框的大片落地窗、回收木材製作的桌椅跟櫃子、以及一張古董書桌。有一些膠卷相機收藏 還有寄賣一些攝影師作品、明信片以及關於台中中區文化文化再造的書籍。
