The two huge trees in front are aptly named Husband & Wife trees due to intertwining branches.

多年前曾慕名而來並沒有留下深刻印象，這是第二次光顧卻有全新感受。 我點了招牌咖啡，老公點一般咖啡店少見的愛爾蘭咖啡，俐落的女店長除了煮咖啡、解說、對好奇的觀光客人有問必答、對老朋友客人閒話家常，而我對門口兩株老樹頗心儀，她便講了好幾則老樹的故事滿足我。店長一人服務也能盯住全場，讓我佩服不已，店長說雖然咖啡廳的風華已過，她仍每天開店(服務時間從中午12點到下午3點)，只因不忍中區凋零。 愛爾蘭咖啡是真正的美酒加咖啡，需加威士忌和糖及鮮奶油，老公喝的時候沒有掌握到店長提醒的訣竅，雖已喝了大半杯，店長仍堅持幫他再加些咖啡以求口感層次效果再現，店長對工作的熱情讓人欣賞。 老樹咖啡的老樹並非老闆手栽，而是日治時期就存在，當時許多店家門口都有樹，只不過多半沒有留下來，老闆卻一直維護至今，顯然也是愛樹人。如今老樹成了活招牌為咖啡廳增色，並且不知何時已成了夫妻樹，樹梢上看得到兩樹手牽手幸福顧店，恰與屋內的咖啡香及溫馨氣氛完美輝映。

I just happened to find this cafe while looking at goole map. Since I am a Japanese, I got so curious about this place as It reminds me a cafe nearby my late grandmom place. Once I stepped into the place, the lady boss asked me few questions and she mistook me as a hongkong guy due to my look and my mandarin accent. Anyway, since she likes Singapore and I live in Singapore, she kept talking to me. It was a pleasant experience. I would love to...
