This cute little restaurant was my absolute highlight visiting Tainan. At the corner of the famous Shennong street you find it, and already see the high potential from the outside. Inside, the nice wood-optic give the place a nice vibe, and you can already smell the skewers sitting on the flames. Especially the beef, the big shrimp, but also the chicken skewer with Mentaiko sauce were outstanding. Also, I would highly recommend the mochis for desert. I am sure you could try yourself through the whole menu, and would probably like all of it. Definitely a place to check out. Card payment as well as cash is possible. These were certainly warranted as this was one of our favorite dining experiences in Tainan. Take note of the 500NTD per pax minimum spend.
They do have an English menu, and their recommended items are marked out with a tiny star next to the Chinese name (you’ll have to look hard for it). We really enjoyed the grilled spiced pork, and kebabs comprising chicken with spring onion, asparagus with bacon, iberico pork, and streaky beef.
