This is the best food I’ve had in a loooooong time! I have not been reviewing many places lately and I haven’t felt the need to as I have not eaten many things that swept me off my feet, but this place did just that! Red Alley Bistro made me remember just how appreciative one should be about having amazing food in hidden little gems such as this one! Although it isn’t in the fanciest setting nor is it the most comfortable frame, it is very welcoming and the food is PHENOMENAL!! We had the Sweet and Sour Chicken and the Salty Pork and they were so delicious that I wish everyone would have the pleasure to eat here at least once in their lives! All dishes come with a soup, vegetables, white rice and we ordered an extra soy egg that was also pretty good! Last and not least, the Passion Fruit Teas (one green, one black) were also delicious, but we had a slight preference for the green tea version. All in all, if you don’t know what to eat in Taipei and want to have an experience you’ll remember, come here! Our only regret is that we found this place on our last day in Taiwan or else we would have...

Hidden gem in the alley own by a humble lady. She tried her best to accommodate us although one group reserve the spot but did not turn up for more then 10 minutes. They came 15 minutes after we sat down.

Their signature dishes is good. We order chicken, beef and pork. I would think their pork and beef dishes are the best.

Do not forget to add egg for TWD30. Worth it to eat with their food.

Please do not reserve your spot if you came late. Space are limited, but they are nice to reserve, hoping...

Tucked in an actual alley, Red Alley Bistro is a hidden gem. The lady running the place speaks a little english but her kind and welcoming gesture makes you feel instantly comfortable. Note that you’ll need to pay when placing your order.

I tried the Taiwanese salty pork and sweet and sour diced chicken—both were absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors that hit the spot. The passion fruit green tea is a standout and an absolute must-try, perfectly balancing sweetness and...

One of the best meals I had in Taiwan (if not the best). The lady who owned the place was very warm and she even gave us a small figurine as a souvenir. The salty pork was tender and very tasty with just the perfect blend of the usual taiwanese spices. The side dishes were also delightful. The beef with pepper was also good and also tender. Came with side dishes too. Overall I highly recommend this place.
