I'd like to share an unfortunate experience I had at the upscale restaurant, Ziga Zaga Hyatt, yesterday. Our evening began with an unexpected encounter when a cockroach made its way onto our table. Thankfully, the restaurant staff promptly offered us alternative seating arrangements. The most disappointing aspect of the evening was the frozen eggplant lasagna, which unfortunately appeared to have been improperly stored or past its expiration date. Regrettably, it was served lukewarm and didn't seem to be thoroughly heated. The eggplant was dry and had a texture reminiscent of a tire, yet I found myself finishing the entire portion, perhaps out of habit. Unfortunately, this choice resulted in a difficult night, as I experienced food poisoning and haven't been feeling well since (it's now the following day at 11 am). It's worth noting that the restaurant did not charge us for the lasagnas and drinks, and they also offered us complementary cookies and fruits as a gesture of goodwill. However, it's important to emphasize that no amount of cookies can truly compensate for the unpleasant dining experience and its subsequent effects. I wanted to share some observations from my recent visit to this restaurant, as I believe they could help enhance the dining experience.
During my hour-long stay at lunchtime, I noticed some hygiene practices that could use improvement.
The head chef, who wears glasses, was handling pasta and tasting sauces with his fingers, and I did not see him wash his hands during that time. It’s essential for chefs to use tasting spoons to uphold basic hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Additionally, I observed that a cooking utensil was dropped on the floor and then reused for cooking pasta, which raises further concerns.
On a positive note, I truly enjoyed the food and appreciated the friendly service staff, as well as the inviting open kitchen atmosphere. However, these hygiene practices have made me hesitant to return.
I believe I am not alone in noticing these issues, and I sincerely hope they can be addressed to align with the high standards expected of a five-star...

首先上來的是麵包 5星 這跟一般西餐廳的前菜麵包完全不一樣,他應該是夏巴塔也就是我們所謂的拖鞋麵包,他的質地是非常柔軟的,但表皮相當的酥脆,咀嚼感非常強烈,會越咬越起勁、越來越香的感覺!它的抹醬蠻特別的,相當義式那種番茄、羅勒、蒜泥,鹹鹹的味道~ 我覺得麵包非常好吃,但是佐醬沒有那麼喜歡,我原本很期待的是那種酸爽的balsamic醋還有橄欖油哈哈哈。
第一道是哈密瓜佐帕瑪森火腿(經典菜) 5星 真的太好吃!哈密瓜多汁的甜味完全與帕瑪森火腿結合成新的滋味!配上旁邊的羅勒以及橄欖有能激發出別緻的風味!沒有吃過這個配搭的一定要來試試看!他的哈密瓜不會水過頭,很讚讚!
馬札瑞拉水牛乳酪:初榨橄欖油、葡萄醋、田園番茄、羅勒(經典菜) 5星 我想這個大家應該非常熟悉了~ 我覺得比較不一樣的是,他上面的mozzarella中間是有一點液體狀,滑溜溜的,單吃不太會有味道,但與不同的番茄以及羅勒一起享用真的是絕配!
澳洲牛膝佐起司燉飯(不知道這個名字是不是對的) 3星 真的稍微有些普通,燉飯的醬汁是相當濃郁,也飄著一種獨有的風味!牛膝也相當的軟嫩、調味也很足,但感覺兩個菜品不是那麼般配~
爐烤肉醬千層麵(我弟弟點的/他就喜歡吃這種QQ) 4星 這邊的千層麵比外面的肉香味要更濃郁許多,上面起司也是相當滑順,風味相當的好,可能是沒有很喜歡千層麵的緣故~ 但說真的這個千層麵是很有質感的,但考量到價位的話...哈哈哈
烤春雞(應該不是這個名字哈哈) 4.5星 春雞的肉質相當的軟嫩,香味很棒!很多汁甜美!佐著烤過的小番茄以及馬鈴薯,也是相當的好吃!!
爐烤披薩皮裹綜合海鮮 5星 🔥🦞🦐🦑 這道菜是簡直是視覺以及味覺的饗宴,也是這次來用餐最喜歡的一道餐點!他是用薄薄的麵皮覆蓋著整個橢圓形的鑄鐵鍋,包裹著非常香甜的海鮮,有龍蝦、石斑魚、蛤蠣、透抽、淡菜、干貝,用蒜頭、番茄、羅勒、迷迭香、洋蔥等等一起熬煮,湯汁汁香甜!! 上菜的時候,服務員會用一個大大的木槌將餅皮敲開,熱氣伴隨著濃郁的鮮味一同發散出來 用上面的餅皮一起蘸著 阿斯 氣泡酒帕瑪森干貝青豆頓飯 4星 這個氣泡酒燉飯的味道相當的特別,入口的時候帶有一絲氣泡酒的苦味,尾韻漸漸釋放酒味的甘甜,很有層次感的一道菜! 雖然有些偏鹹,但味覺的衝擊也是很喜歡的!! 才知道干貝配上乾乾的帕瑪森火腿的風味很讚~
最後的最後,我們的甜點,也是我最期待的一part
提拉米蘇 4.5星 這道提拉米蘇是溫溫的甜點,將旁邊固定的包裝拿下來,上面奶香超級足帶有巧克力粉的醬緩緩地流下來! 配上提拉米蘇的主體,非常的美味,也可以吃到咖啡凍以及小巧克力球,很多元的層次感 挺喜歡,如果可以有更明顯的口感層次(加上依些脆脆的餅乾之類的) 以及溫差的口感,會更棒 很是抱歉,這次專心地吃沒有記價錢還有名字
P.S. 服務生的素質差異有點大,印象中有一個比較年輕的女服務生,很熱情的介紹,服務的也很周到~ 但有一個年紀稍長的女服務生,感覺比較「溫吞」,介紹的細節度比較少,熱忱也感覺少些,口氣也有些「平淡」,像是我們13:25入座後,馬上跟我們說最後點餐時間是13:45,只能用餐到14:00,我們瞬間錯愕!想說用餐半個小時怎麼夠,讓我們很緊張!她又馬上說用餐到14:30也是可以的。說真的她說的完全沒有問題! 只是感覺口氣有點冷淡讓我覺得很沒有那種被歡迎的熱情感😅😭
P.S.S. 晚上很像有樂團的演出,下次有機會也想晚上來用餐~😍
再訪率 40% (必須要自己出錢的話哈哈哈) (主要是因為價格偏高)
