BEWARE OF FAKE OVERPRICED BILL. The food (for me)was ok but my husband's steak was burnt. we were cheated with the bill. We were handed a hand written bill with two inflated prices for food and glasses of wine. $5 for a glass of local wine? ( we had 2) even Gran Melia is cheaper. Please pay attention to your bill. The next day I informed the manager of the situation and he assured me that he will deal with the members of staff responsible for the situation and that he would return the amount of 27 000 shillings which we overpaid. Unfortunately he did not pick up my phone after that day. Anyway I just hope in future everything works out well for them and perhaps the owner takes a more significant part with what is going on at the restaurant. When it first opened it was truly amazing and I recommended all my friends and family to eat at Sawa Sawa. In light of this situation I doubt if they will be coming...
