This is one of those restaurants where all the effort is spent on getting you in rather than serving those already in. Two girls spent their time hanging out by the menu. We went in attracted by the reasonably priced drinks. (large beer and G&T 100tbt each) One of the girls served us and we then shared a red curry spiced rice. The G&T had far too much ice but otherwise all good. Then we wanted a second drink. Not so easy. The girl who originally served us had disappeared, could not get the attention of the one out front. Eventually went out to her, she looked scared and disappeared to find someone, she clearly did not speak English. The beer arrived, no G&T. A bloke came through to bar area I pointed to my glass, he smiled and disappeared. An older lady who I had not realised was part of the establishment who was sitting on her phone eventually came over and found the original lady from the back. Other reviews mentioned good music, we just had a very small loop of Foreigner, Phil Collins and Brian Adams... Repeat. Food good but would not return because of...
Read moreGreat atmosphere as the live music was going, we been attracted by it, the guy it was an amazing singer and also a great guitarist, people were singing and having fun and the music was on till late.
The service it was good they were very attentive and friendly, there’s a bunch of staff working and as soon as we ordered food and drinks everything came quite fast.
We ordered first day we came a beer which has the price of 100 tbh a large one and a freshly made lemon juice both came straight away then o was slightly hungry and ordered the chicken leg which I honestly don’t recommend as it was extremely dry and looked like had days.
The second day we came we ordered the same drinks as mentioned above and I ordered also the prawn glass noodles which were great and full of taste and came very fast also.
This place is located in Rambuttri St near by the famous Khaosan Road and it has a much more calmer vibe and no load music or annoying people...
Read moreWe came here 3 times on our travels because the food was so good. We had the garlic and black pepper fried rice with egg, red curry fried rice, green curry, and chicken satay. Amazing for veggies and vegans as there are vegetable and tofu options available. Staff were friendly. Live music in the evenings has a nice calm atmosphere. Wouldn't recommend the Caprice salad as on the menu it says sourdough but it comes on normal toast, but that is the only thing I can say as an improvement for the future. Big Chang's for 100 bhat. Love it and would definitely come back again....
