I'm Your Vegan — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Sad to write this about purely vegan place but had the worst eating out experience in a long time.. Heard and saw so much beautiful advertisement and words about this restaurant but what I received was totally not as expected. Came here for amazingly looking shakes. Ordered pistachio shake. When it came was a bit surprised by the bland colour of it (nowhere even slightly greenish) but had hopes the flavour will not disappoint. Unfortunately, instead of shake received a glass of blended ice with a few bits of nuts but almost no pistachio flavour at all. Only the topping was worth eating - brownie was really nice and the cream. Everything else was just super cold bunch of ice that made my throat sore instantly (real shakes usually don’t have this effect because they are made of milk, ice cream, etc. and not purely of ice). Wow! If you go for a delicious vegan bite to eat, you are in for an amazing treat! Had a chance to taste & happily consume some appetizing vegan food last night w/ my lady & her girlfriends. I’m a devout meat eater, but the burgers here are making me re-think my carnivorous ways. I can honestly say, the “beyond beef” burger was one of the best burgers i’ve ever eaten of any kind! It was a banger!!! The flavor, the texture and the creative colorful sauces added to tickle my palette. Along w/ the burger, the restaurant also has amazingly tasty appetizers & sides. My personal favorite was the “blue” garlic aioli sauce. You can add that to anything and it will pop w/ a garlicky zest! And to finish off, we had their extravagant vainglorious vegan Chocolate milkshake! Not only was it delicious, it was beautifully prepared and concepted! I will definitely be going back for more!

We made a special effort to get here and it was kinda worth it. The bang bang dish was really nice, the let's plant burger was too, with a really airy bun. One of the staff had gone out to get more let's plant patties as they'd run out. The cookie protein drink was ok, except there were still whole cookies in it and they were rock-like!

We'd also ordered the KFC-style dish but it never arrived. As dishes come out whenever they're ready we just assumed it was coming. After our mains I went to check but they'd just 'run out'. Oddly this was after they'd just given a tray of them to another table that ordered AFTER us. I was not a happy camper. Disappointing finish to what had been a nice lunch.
