Le Bistrot & Le Terrace — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Having stopped for a drink the previous evening and enjoyed the ambience we decided to have a meal. I had a massaman beef curry . The meat was at least 50% fat.I pointed this out to the waitress.She was not interested - merely stating thats how its made. I am a chef so know this is rubbish. I complained again and was treated with disdain.I then asked for the manager-sorry gone home.My girlfriend by this time had finished her meal. Another waitress came over and asked if I would like something else. Sorry all too late now. I filled in a complaint card and heard nothing. DO NOT EAT HERE - Our starters were not brought out together meaning we had to eat separately. Our main dishes were so so awful even I could serve a better meal and my speciality is toast. I ordered a pizza which wasn't even an oven based pizza, it was just a microwave pizza. My girlfriend had the most bland bit of chicken ever, it was just plain and that was it. She had garlic mash with it, and again, a simple bit of mash with two bits of garlic dumped inside. You're better off taking your Mrs to burger king across the road if you want to impress her...

Travellers avoid at all costs. Our food was very expensive, bland and was clearly not fresh. Two of us ordered pizzas which were store bought and defrosted, yet they still charged a lot for them. Another two of us received cold food.

Another in our party ordered chicken wings and what we received was laughable. They were bones with the smallest slither of meat on them.

Two of us even became quite sick after eating here.

There are much better places...
