Taiwan and Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Came to this Taiwanese restaurant specially for Lantern Festival to have tangyuan. I ordered the black sesame tangyuan in ginger tea (65 THB). The black sesame filling was sweet and fragrant, while the ginger tea added a nice warmth to my stomach—perfect for the occasion.

Not sure why this place has such poor reviews, I really enjoyed the food and it was nice to have something a bit different from Thai but still reasonably priced. I had the 'Taiwan Style Pork Noodle.' The lady said the small size probably wouldn't be enough but I think the large size was too much so I'll probably go with the small size next time. I also couldn't resist trying one of the desserts and really enjoyed the 'Black Sesame Dumplings in...

The VERY BEST dumplings in Chiang Mai! I have ordered them too many times to count! They are wonderful, either fried, grilled or steamed! :)

The owner is so warm, fun and attentive. She already knew what I was there for hihi

Definetely give them a try if you are in Chiang Mai! They are closed on the 1st and 16th every month, so take them into account!
