Some tips: 1) Arrive before 14:00 or they start to run out of meat. 2) Take a menu at the front table, decide what you want, then go up front to order - they understand English. 3) The salads are very spicy, but I have not tried the soups. I pranked a friend by telling him how yummy the salads are, then watched him choke on the spice. 4) They have free water, ice and extras (mint leaves, lettuce, chopsticks, etc) so help yourself. 5) Try the sticky rice for 10B - put a small amount in your hand, flatten it with your fingers, then use it to scoop the meats or sauces on your plate. 6) I usually have the Pork BBQ (60B) and a sticky rice for lunch, then takeaway 5 chicken wings (100B) and a sticky rice for dinner. 7) Cash only and...

The gai yang here is chicken wings and are super delicious. I also highly recommend the laab. You can grab one of the english menus with pictures and prices near the front station, order there, and then take a seat.

Read moreFantastic North Eastern Thai style food - the BBQ pork (Moo Yang) is tender and very tasty (to the point of being addictive), same goes for all the other pork and chicken dishes. Som Tam Thai very good, small portions but worth the medium kind of price charged (medium between up-country street food and modern air conditioned restaurants). Fantastic and friendly service also, really love this place.
