bad luck? we ordered 2 drinks and 2 burgers: the caipiroska was like vodka with soda and a slice of lime, the maitai tasted like candy. so far so good (or not). then came the burgers, and long story short: they were inedible. the burger itself was not made of regular ground meat. it was a very dark, very hard brick of unidenfied meat leftovers, even wirh a knife hard to cut and with an extremly unpleasant taste. no way we could have eaten that. so we complained with the waiter who didn‘t quite speak english. so we asked for the bill, but just for the drinks. by then the waiter realized what was happening, he said we had to pay for everythng. I asked to speak to the manager, but there was no manager. he went away, came back and took a foto of the plate and called the manager. after some time speaking in thai he handed the fone to me and the manager said we had to pay for the burgers because we had eaten allready half of it, which was not the case. anyway, the discussion on the fone went on and in the end I paid for one of the two burgers, even though we didn‘t it, just to be nice. apart from the realy bad food (and drinks), this is not how you should treat you customers. we‘ll never go...

The food was good.... The fish fresh as with every other place around here. The ambience was beautiful, especially under the illuminated tree.

The service a tad slow, but I think that was more because we were in a hurry and this is not a fast food place. But could have been a bit more responsive.

Avoid the bloody Mary. Again disappointed by the lack of a good bloody Mary...

Parking is at the diamond cottages resort as the restaurant is part of the hotel. This helps as this section of road dues not have parking.

I don’t understand why this wonderful place has such low scores.

We took a sandwich club and a tuna sandwich. Our order was taken quickly and our dishes arrived just as quickly.

The size is impressive, there is no feeling that you can go hungry. The food tastes good, we liked it.

Prices for some items are even cheaper than in other cafe/restaurants, although this is a restaurant.
