Review of the IHG One Night In Bangkok Campaign: Collect Stamps from All Three Bars to Win a Free Stay (Location Unknown 😂) I started this campaign at Baryard, then moved to Char, and finished at Rogues. If I were to rank my experiences at these three places in terms of drinks and service, my preference would be: Rogues > Baryard > Char. To give you a clearer picture, let’s compare their performance to a 100-meter sprint competition: • Rogues: Usain Bolt at his peak, clocking 9.58 seconds in 2009. • Baryard: A rising Thai runner like Biu, clocking around 10.06 seconds. • Char: Someone like me, an average guy running 100 meters in over 15 seconds. Imagine all three running a race—you get the idea 😂😂. Now, this ranking doesn’t factor in nighttime views and ambiance. If we did, Usain Bolt might not leave me entirely in the dust 😏. Having praised Rogues so highly, I feel compelled to highlight a key individual who made me write this review (while I skipped reviewing the other two places). That person is Por, the bartender who took care of me all night (well, until around 8:30 PM because I got tipsy😂). Besides being great at mixing drinks, Por was fun to chat with and kept introducing me to unique new menu items. For anyone into spirit-forward cocktails, there are two recommended drinks : 1. Boulevardier The drink placed before me could easily be the twin sibling of a Negroni, but the taste was distinctly different—refreshing, less sweet, with a light hint of iced black thai tea. I was so caught up in chatting (Por is that fun to talk to) that I forgot to jot down the details. If you’re curious about the flavor, you’ll have to try it for yourself 😁. 2. Nice to Meet You This was a new creation that Por named just yesterday. By the time I tried it, I was pleasantly buzzed. It had a faint sweetness from white chocolate while maintaining the strong spirit-forward essence perfectly. Other drinks I tried (which I’ve reviewed before) were all consistently excellent—no disappointments. Feel free to try them all. As for storytelling through cocktail names, that’s up to your interpretation. I hope this review helps!

ROGUES: A Spirited Sip of Bangkok at InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit Hidden behind the golden glow and deep jewel tones of ROGUES, we found one of Bangkok’s most visually striking and flavor-forward cocktail bars. Located at InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit, this Asian-inspired Art Deco hideaway is everything you want from a hotel bar — bold, stylish, and full of storytelling. The interiors are rich and moody: red leather banquettes, emerald green walls, golden details, and a cinematic atmosphere that feels part Shanghai speakeasy, part 1920s Gatsby — yet entirely Bangkok. It’s the kind of place that begs you to linger a little longer. But the real magic is in the cocktail menu. At ROGUES, each drink tells a story, with adventurous blends that showcase premium spirits, house infusions, and distinctively Thai ingredients. Every glass captures a bit of the city’s electric energy — daring, unexpected, and completely unforgettable. We tried: 🍹 Thonglor Dessert – ROGUES’ elevated tribute to mango sticky rice. Think Chalong Bay rum, pandan, coconut juice, mango espuma, and coconut jelly. It’s creamy, tropical, and somehow both dessert and cocktail in one sip. 🍸 Tuk Tuk Tea Float – A wild ride through Bangkok’s street snack culture. Tequila Blanco, Thai iced tea, Irish cream, and a scoop of traditional-style coconut ice cream (with sweet corn, jackfruit, and cendol inside!). Sweet, playful, and nostalgic in the best way. Both drinks were thoughtfully composed, well-balanced, and totally transportive — more than just Instagrammable, they genuinely delivered on taste and technique. Whether you're a guest at the hotel or just exploring Sukhumvit’s evolving cocktail scene, ROGUES is a must-stop for cocktail lovers who crave something with depth, edge, and a bit of drama. Perfect for a date night, post-dinner nightcap, or just to see Bangkok through a fresh, flavorful lens.

Had such a great time at Rogue Bar, everything from the ambiance to the service was spot on! The vibe is chill but classy, perfect for a night out with friends or even a solo drink. The music and lighting really set the mood, and the space feels both cozy and stylish. Huge thanks to Jam and Golf, the barista and servers who took care of us. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. You can really feel their passion for what they do, it made the whole experience even better. The drinks were superb, expertly crafted, well-balanced, and honestly some of the best we’ve had in Bangkok. Whether you’re into classics or something a little more creative, their cocktail list won’t disappoint. Highly recommend Rogue Bar for anyone looking for a great drink, amazing service, and an all-around good time. Will definitely be back!
