I STRONGLY RECOMMEND this restaurant, they serve the BEST UNAGI (Eel) I have tried so far. It is way better than the Michelin Bib Gourmand one in Singapore.
Unagi are fresh, plump and juicy. Chef Takashi revealed that they only use the freshest ingredients from Japan. I love their salt grilled ones. Extremely tasty and different from the regular ‘sweet sauce’ variations. We tried the Unagi Tataki during this visit, and I must say it is extremely refreshing and pairs really well with the onions and shiso leaf. Chef Takashi is really really good with his fire, so you can never go wrong with their grilled dishes.

I definitely recommend trying their set meals because it is great value for money, but it is limited sets everyday, so do confirm reservation to secure the set.
Comparing my experience with eels, and even the Michelin Bib Gourmand one in Singapore, Unakichi is the best and definitely deserve a Michelin award too!

I made a reservation for a lunch set (699 baht) about 1 month in advance through Unakichi's Instagram. There are only 15 lunch sets a day so making a reservation is recommended. The set includes everything pictured, including multiple side dishes, a choice of iced water or hot tea, and green tea ice-cream.
With 10% service charge and 7% VAT, the total bill came up to 822.72 baht.
Impeccable service. Great location at Hotel Nikko Bangkok 3F, just a 5 mins walk from Thong Lor BTS.

I recommend that you make a reservation before visiting the restaurants as it could get pretty busy. You could also order some dish in advance as some of them are limited.
