Sorabol — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Subdistrict

Cold noodles: noodles a perfect texture. too sweet for my taste but still refreshing! Egg was hard boiled. Squid scallion pancake: well fried, beautifully crispy without being too oily and had a nice subtle flavor. Mung bean jelly salad: yummy, a bit bland but clean and had a nice variety of constituents which all combined nicely. A bit hard to mix in the bowl though. Crab Ramen soup: a bit bland. I didn't have much of this. Scallop (bbq): texture was very good- not chewy but rather soft and tender. Taste was great! Beef (bbq): same as above. We had the non fatty cut.

Longstanding restaurant of many years. Hand towels given before meal. Placemats were paper with nice explanatory illustrations! There was plenty of banchan with a great variety. Complimentary dessert was given. Meats were not drenched in sauce unlike other places. Servers helped cook meat for us and brought extra banchan and vegetables upon our frequent requests. Wow!! This is that kind of a place where you finished a meal, walked out, got home & still talked about how good the meal was. 🙏🏼 The food items was definitely in good quality, tasty and with great sizing. But the service and ambiance were impeccable, especially the service. The person who took care of us knew what she was doing, she did it flawlessly. The pork belly was grilled to perfection, im not grilling our own pork belly anymore. Making sure that the grill was at 200 degrees before she started the ceremony as well lol. She even changed the grill top into a different pattern/design before grilling the marinated ribs, 🏆. Definitely worth every penny/thb (probably around 1000 per person will get your belly very full). Will definitely be back for more. Sad that it took this long to find out about the spot. And this could be the best find for Korean food in the country in...

Today, I had the opportunity to try Sorabol, a long-established restaurant with a well-known reputation. After hearing about it for so long, I finally got to experience it myself.

As soon as I stepped into the restaurant, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming service. The staff were all friendly and attentive, and the manager personally took great care of us, which made the experience even more memorable.

The food exceeded my expectations! Having tried many Korean restaurants before, I must say that this one is truly the best. It absolutely lives up to its reputation. Additionally, the restaurant offers private dining rooms at no extra charge and even covers parking fees for customers. These small but thoughtful details show how much they value and understand their customers' needs.
