Sushi Hiro สาขา K-Village — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Subdistrict

I like Sushi Hiro normally a lot for their fresh and creative dishes, and I have been to most of their branches in the past 5 years.. but I am pretty disappointed with the service level of the staff and restaurant managers (K-village branch) attention to say the least! While the restaurant was nearly empty, having to wait 30 min for the first dish to come (which was near frozen salmon Sashimi) and then another 15 min for the next dish is not good service (the final one, came 1 hour and 10 min after the order). Also we did not get everything we ordered 😅😅 Finally on top of that when asking the manager he was not even apologizing and only said he would check but then never returned.. but saw him doing other stuff on his phone.. another table was also complaining about the slow service.. at the end when giving constructive feedback in English/Thai for a lunch that took more then a hour and a half, the manager just looked at us and said nothing..

Will not be coming back or recommend this branch anytime soon and will likely stick to the Thonglor or...

Tried out this place for late lunch. Not many people during this time. And the service was a bit slow. Tried out 3 items. Salmon Mentai (100฿), the salmon was fresh and properly charred and topped with a bit of mayo and ikura. Got the Unagi Sushi (99฿), the unagi was a bit big but unfortunately the yaki sauce was just too much. It soaked the whole rice part & created a puddle. Making it overly sweet. Also got the Ebi Tempura Crunchy Roll (275฿), the prawns used was fresh, but the dish was a bit bland. And the spicy sauce altho it was already lessen (as requested), kind of take away the freshness of the prawn because it was a bit pungent. They also offer other menu items (sashimi, grilled, etc). Regret picking this restaurant, what a shame for the Sushi Hiro franchise. Ordered three dishes, sushi roll came in 10 mins but the second dish took 50mins. Asked for the third dish, which was just plain rice and miso soup, the girl in charge of this behind the counter did not even move. One dish was chicken with fried vegetables, it is like leftover food from yesterday that they re-heated. There is definitely something wrong with the management of the restaurant, or the employees hate to work here. Don’t know but just don’t bother to come here ever again.
