Thermae — Restaurant in Khlong Toei Nuea Subdistrict

Every night this place is PAcked with freelancers and Asian tourists. Well i first saw this place in YouTube and it happened by chance and I put it in my list so that when I travel to Thailand I will visit it. And to my surprise it happened to be near my hotel where I was staying in bangkok. So since I was staying at dream hotel in Soi 15 sukhumvit it was just 3 or 4 minutes away by walking. This place always interested me because so many freelancers were there every night. It was I think my second night so I went there and the moment I went in there was a Thai man directing all the people coming in to the bar so that you buy a drink. No problem anyways I wanted to buy one so I had a heineken beer and started walking among the ladies. there was so many Japanese tourists and it was difficult to find a place to sit. So I found just a small spot standing. But to be totally honest the ladies were not that sexy or beautiful but rather they were average. That is just my opinion maybe for you it is different. But for sure you can find some nice ladies. Anyways stayed like half an hour and left. The last night after coming back from pattaya since there was no vacancy in dream Hotel I came straight to Ruamchitt hotel and took a room. So that you know thermae pub is under this hotel. A very bizarre place. I could not believe what I was seeing. A must-visit establishment for single males if you are in Bangkok. It's not a cafe. No one drinks coffee. It's not really a bar. No one gets intoxicated. Beer used to be 110 Baht. Now, they've raised it to 120 Baht.

When you enter through the main entrance, buy a drink from the bar on the left. There is a waiter that watches everyone who enters. So there is no way around it. Then you can view the talent as you circle clock-wise. Some of the ladies are sitting down. But most will just stand and wait for you to approach them. They will usually not approach you.

The prices are very high. I don't mean the drinks. Negotiation is possible but not with the attractive ones. They can pick and choose. 2,5003,000 Baht for 1 hour or 6,0007,000 Baht for 4 hours.

Chinese, Koreans, and Japanese rule this place. Westerners may be ignored by many of the ladies. It's the law of the jungle. I recommend Soi 4 Nana area for the Westerners.

Some may insist on getting a room in the upstairs hotel. Do not do it. You are the boss. If your hotel is very far, then you may have no choice.

Also, if you decide to take someone, have very low expectations. Do not expect great service. You will not get it. They will leave you as quickly as possible to go back to Thermae to catch the next customer. That's...

This is the most awesome and unique experience one could ever have : imagine walking in an aquarium (no glass walls thankfully) and eyeballing ladies left and right real close as you walk in a circular aisle sipping your drink. Unforgettable !

The café is located in the basement on the right side of Ruamchitt Plaza hotel. A bouncer checks all entering and as you enter the café, another bouncer directs you immediately to the left to order a drink. One costs at least 100 baht.

Once you got the drink, you walk following the human traffic. On this night, there are at least 100s squeezed inside this tiny café. There are chair and bar counter type seats but limited. You could sit or walk round and round, as you wish. Some appear to come in later, so you could continue to drink and wait.

The hotel caters for short time happy happy endings, so it's very convenient.

Many many to choose from, the majority better than those on the streets.
