I recently stumbled upin Margarita Storm in Bangkok while I was walking on the street, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with a perfect blend of music and ambiance that created a warm and welcoming environment. The menu was extensive, offering a wide range of cocktails and delicious snacks to complement the drinks.
I started off with the Margaritas, and I must say, they were exceptional. The balance of tequila, lime juice, and Cointreau was perfectly blended to create a tangy and refreshing drink. The Cosmopolitan was another favorite of mine, with a perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors. The Mai Tai and Daquiri were also delightful, with a strong fruity flavor and a smooth finish.
The Cheesy Loaded Nachos were a perfect match for the drinks. The cheese was melted to perfection and evenly spread over the nachos, which were crispy and flavorful. The Pecan Pie and Cherry Pie were equally delicious, with a flaky crust and a generous filling of fresh pecans and cherries.
The highlight of my experience, however, was the special Tequila Shot, priced at an unbeatable 60 baht. It was a smooth and silky shot of high-quality tequila, with a subtle hint of smokiness that lingered on the palate.
In addition to the fantastic drinks and snacks, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Margarita Storm offers a great selection of entertainment options as well. On the first floor, they have a lovely pool table, table tennis, and a retro video game arcade machine, providing plenty of activities to keep you and your friends entertained throughout your visit.
Another great feature of Margarita Storm is that they are open 24 hours, so whether you're looking to grab a drink during the day or party well into the night, this bar has got you covered. The seating options are also a great touch, with both indoor and outdoor seating available.
As someone who has spent time in Bangkok, I can attest to how hot and humid it can get. Thankfully, the inside of Margarita Storm was super chill, with the AC being very effective in combating the heat. This made for a comfortable and enjoyable experience, allowing me to fully enjoy the delicious drinks, snacks, and entertainment options available.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention the outstanding service we received from the bartender, Jun. Not only was he friendly and welcoming, but he also took the time to engage with us and make sure we were having a great time.
Jun's communication in English was superb, and he was able to recommend some excellent drinks that perfectly suited our tastes. But what really stood out was how he went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. He even played some fun question games with my girlfriend and me, which were hilarious and tested our relationship in a fun way.
Jun's presence really elevated our experience at Margarita Storm, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about ensuring that we had a great time. His attention to detail, warm personality, and excellent service made our visit truly special.
In summary, Margarita Storm is not just a great bar for its fantastic drinks, snacks, and entertainment options. It's also a great place to experience exceptional service from people like Jun, who go above and beyond to ensure that your visit is unforgettable. I would highly recommend this bar to anyone looking for a memorable night...

Popped in here with a friend after an event last night because I’ve always wanted to come here and my first time here and I thought let’s just have their bottomless chips and guacamole 🥑!
We ordered the bottomless chips and guacamole and we asked for some salsa on the side the waiter had no clue what I was talking about ? He held up a bottle of hot sauce when I asked for salsa 🙈 😬 after finishing the first guacamole that comes with this bottomless chips I asked for a second bowl they did not tell us that the second bowl was going to be charged (95 baht) we thought it was bottomless for the guacamole and the chips because of the way it’s written on the menu but it’s OK we don’t mind paying for extra but there was no communication it was like the servers were robots 🤖 !
I showed him the picture on the menu and said this is salsa this is what I requesting in the picture on the menu looked huge and so he went to go get it and when he brought it back it was so tiny I was so disappointed I don’t mind paying extra But there was no question he saw the expression on my face look at the size of the salsa I want to eat to eat chips with it!
Anyway every time we needed something we had to wave 👋 to the servers there was plenty of them but they were just not enthusiastic nor were they even willing to suggest anything standing in line just staring into space!
I had to wave 👋 to ask for a bottle of water I had to wave 👋 to ask for a bottle of soda water when we sat down there was no waiter to ask what we wanted to drink first or what we wanted to eat we had to wave 👋 them down!
I couldn’t imagine dining here because it felt like the staff just didn’t want to be here but I had to be here!
Anyway I think this place is good for sitting on the corner and people watching and even the people that were sitting on the balcony outdoors had to continuously wave to the servers to get their beers filled!

Read moreThough not as kitsch, it reminds me a bit of Margaritaville in Las Vegas, probably because of the endless parade of humanity on the sidewalk immediately outside. Mexican is their branding but they also sell pizza and breakfasts, so judge accordingly. Cash, credit card and probably Thai e-wallet payments accepted. Some English spoken. Open 24-hours.
Stopped in for a late dinner. Was seated at a table where condensation from the AC unit was falling on the table constantly. Apparently this is not perceived as problematic. I had to keep moving food and drinks away from this soas not to become contaminated or at least diluted.
Endless bag of chips with salsa is a good value for the money. Chips are crisp and salted well. You can choose from mild, medium or hot salsa, and you receive a fair portion of three different versions within that grouping. I asked for the spiciest options. One smelled good - like roasted green chilis - but ended up being surprisingly sweet tasting and not at all spicy. The next one smelled like canned enchilada sauce but was probably the tastiest of the three and had a very mild but perceptible heat. The last of the three smelled like ketchup and didn't pack much heat either. Disappointing.
Their carne asada tacos featured a ground meat of a color I am not used to seeing in tacos. Presuming it was beef, it was more the color of very light chicken. A bit mealy. It was further complicated by the addition of diced mangos so the entire effect was sweet rather than savory. Again, disappointing.
Finally, I ordered a spicy margarita, at which point the waitress brought me a smaller menu of four cocktails (undoubtedly premium) and indicated the spicy one, which I accepted. The margarita was not at all spicy despite a slice of raw jalapeno in it. The salt/chili powder did not rim the glass but rather coated one side of the glass. It's rather unappealing to lick the side of your glass when drinking a margarita, and it would be much better to keeping the flavoring on the rim! Flavor was mediocre and tasted like store-bought sweet & sour mix. Other than a display of Corallejo shot glasses and a fake oversized bottle, there was no display of their available tequilas. I don't remember seeing a list of available tequilas in their menus either, though they do elaborate on their beer options.
Overall adequate but not at all impressive. If you like the faux beachside vibe and want to people watch this is a good spot to do it in, particularly if you stick to beer and...
