One waitress there was absolutely horrible. I ate there 3 times before this. But im never going back again after this.
Normally we order one dish person, but the last time we went there we werent that hungry so we didnt order alot. After we finished ordering the waitresses started treating us badly especially that one lady who seems to be the more senior staff. They refused to refill our complimentary dish not even once which i thought was weird since the times i've been there before we can refill as often as we like. After a while about half way through the meal, she then informed us through snarky tone we need to order at least one dish per person. We understood the restaurant so we order more, but instead of treating us better she countinously treated us like we were begging to eat there for free.
We have no problem ordering more and totally would understand the restaurant rule if she would communicate it to us nicely in the begining when we order. But instead she choose to act bitter all the way through when really all this could have been avoided had she just simply told us in the begining to order 1 dish person.
The owner really has to train the staff better when situation like this happens or to avoid this put a sticker to say at least 1 dish order per person. The experience was so bad . She was mean to everyone of my family. We will never come back...
Read morePretty average place, esp if I compare it to Sookdal, that will still be my to-go place for Korean BBQ. The Bbq pork belly was crispy but didn't taste as well those marinated. The sindopu tofu soup was great but the portion was a let down. There is a variety of side dishes that tasted good. However the service standard of the staff has much improvement. There was not much enthusiasm when we entered the restaurant and nobody bothered to refill our side dishes. If you dine in once at Sookdal, it's literally heaven and earth in terms of the difference in service standard. They served us a bowl of warm noodles as the first dish and we thought that it was part of the side dishes that came thereafter, after realising their mistake, they just took it away when we were already half way through. Restaurant is relatively old and run down. Will probably...
