From the moment we walked in, this Japanese BBQ restaurant delivered an unforgettable dining experience. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between warm hospitality and lively energy, setting the stage for what turned out to be one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.
The food was absolutely outstanding. Every cut of meat was fresh, beautifully marbled, and expertly seasoned, allowing the true flavors to shine when grilled at the table. The selection ranged from tender wagyu slices that melted in the mouth, to perfectly marinated short ribs, to delicate seafood options that were just as exceptional. The sides were equally impressive—crisp, refreshing salads, rich dipping sauces, and traditional accompaniments that elevated every bite. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in both quality and authenticity.
What truly set the experience apart, though, was the staff. Attentive without being intrusive, they anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. They guided us through the menu, offered grilling tips, and ensured everything was timed perfectly. Their friendliness made us feel genuinely welcome, and their passion for the food and service was evident in every interaction.
This wasn’t just dinner—it was an experience. Whether you’re a BBQ enthusiast or new to Japanese-style grilling, this restaurant delivers in every way. I left full, happy, and already planning...
Read moreCame here through a friend’s recommendation, and it’s tucked away in an alley with an entrance that feels almost like a speakeasy bar — hidden but charming. For a Friday night, I was surprised we were the only guests, so there was no wait at all and the food came out pretty quickly.
We ordered the second most expensive set (can’t remember the name) and the King Deluxe set, along with two à la carte portions of black pork belly and local pork loin. The beef was excellent — really fresh and cut to the perfect thickness, not too thin and not too thick. Definitely one of the better Japanese BBQ experiences I’ve had in a while.
The calpis sour, ume sour, and lemon sour drinks were a bit disappointing though — quite diluted and barely any taste, but to be fair, they were cheap.
Our total bill came up to about less than 250sgd. Overall, highly recommend coming here to try the food. A great hidden gem for quality...
Read moreAfter several years of my first try on this sublime yakiniku joint, finally I had a chance to try it for the second time
The menu is almost the same from my last time. Typical yakiniku menu I would say. However the quality of the beef at this joint, now has 5 branches in Bangkok, is superior than other shops quite significantly.
If you are looking for a true yakiniku experience in Bangkok. Tokyo XXX is definitely...
