Talay Beach Restaurant Samui — Restaurant in Ko Samui

This restaurant choice ruined our holiday. We went to this place for dinner and the fire show. We were convinced by the good reviews but it turned out to be a bad choice.

The price are very high considering the quality of food & service you get. I had northern Thai style grilled beef and my wives got the seafood Ananas. The service did not speak English at all, the food took over an hour, it was tasteless and starting later that night we both got food poisoning despite having had completely different dishes. If you go to this place, you only pay for the table at the beach, everything else is not worth it.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Talay beach restaurant! The service was truly outstanding the staff were friendly, especially Khun Boo. he made me feel very welcome from the moment I walked in. They were always ready to help with a smile, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable.

The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and made with fresh ingredients. You can really tell that the chefs put a lot of care into their cooking.

We stopped here for dinner because of the nice atmosphere and the good score on Google. However, we were terribly disappointed by food. I had a grilled fish that I couldn't eat, tasted so bad like chlorine, and my friends had fish and chips with fish full of oil and tasteless. I don't understand the score.
