Khaw Glong Thai — Restaurant in Ko Samui

One of my best Thai Food Experianced on Samui! Indeed they are not the cheapest but Quality has sometimes its price! I ordered Coconut Milkshake which was served in a Coconut! Taste was not so sweat and u need it when you try some spicy Food (Milk inside)! For Starter i got an Seafood Salat served in a half Pineapple! It was so fresh and delicious, i liked it a lot! Unfortunatelly, i ordered it with medium Spicy and afterwards it was so hot, it really burned two times 😂... i was so happy that i had my Coconut Milkshake... For the Maindish i got original Thai Chicken Curry with Steamrice! It was a unique pleasure to eat the whole thing! The good last i got also an very very delicious Espresso! Overall i paid around 800 Baht but in my opinion it was worth the quality and taste of the Food. The Staff was also very friendly and the always had a look if you need something... The ask also a couple of times if everything was ok and if i like it! If you stay in Samui, go and bring yourself to this awesome Restaurant!

Update 03/2024: Still the same Quality! Masamam Curry was a dream! Chicken Pad Thai was not too sweet and also very delicious. Seafood Salat absolute Fresh and good spicy!

There is no reservation possible! You need to wait outside but there are Chairs to sit and you can also order Drinks when you waiting.

A MUST Visit, when you...

We have been visiting thia restaurant since 2013 and it never disappoints. We drove from the other side of the island this time to eat here and was pleased to see a modified menu with some additions I was excited to try. Chicken in pandan leaves is our absolute favourite starter with the sticky tamarind sauce to accompany it. We also ordered chicken parang, the adjusted the spice level a little for me as they do make their curries hot. We tried the spicy duck salad and deep fried chicken with thai green sauce for the first time and both dishes were delicious. The duck salad was on the spicy side, but very tasty. The service was friendly and attentative. We had a really lovely visit. So great to see the expansion of the Khaw Glong farm. Unlikely we will visit this time, but definitely in the future. If you are in koh samui and you want to go for thai food that you know will be incredible, this is the place. Its off the busy road and tucked away so that you can have a nice...

We came here with a friend, we spent an amazing evening. Was the last night of my friend in Thailand actually and she couldn’t wish better for her last evening. Food was delicious, we had wine, panang curry chicken & massaman chicken. Lot of meat, tasty sauce full of flavours…. Was ask no spicy but they said will be a little bit and that was perfect !

Service was amazing, even the cooker come to our table ask if it’s okay, and if we have question about the plate ! So so nice 🥺. Staff was really friendly, smiling, and they care about you.

Environnement is beautiful, well decorated. At the end of our meal they offer us coconut ice cream (so far the best we had here!) was really nice attention. They also explain what was a confit fruit and what they do with it here in Thailand in cooking .. super interesting !

Was so sad to discover that place our last evening…. But so far the best place on food/service/ for a very good price on...
