Emilia ristorante Italiano is located in Gaysorn Tower. This place has a beautiful decoration, with a cozy vibe.

There are many dishes in the menu. But I focused on pasta, fresh pasta.

Ragu di Calamari; sauce has mild cuttlefish (ink) fragrance with a little refreshing scent from lemon zest, which tastes rich and delicate that goes well with the tagliolini (long square fresh pasta) that were well cooked. The cuttlefish is soft and tender from the slow cooking process. Its taste is just perfect to me.🤤

Tagliatelle carbonara; creamy sauce from pork lard, egg yoke, and cheese. Taste quite mild, and I need a bit of salt to my taste. I think the pork wasn't Guanciale but thinly sliced pancetta. Cripy but easily got softened by sauce.

Strozzapreti alla bolognese; thick round long pasta with meat sauce. (They also have pork sauce) The sauce is rich in meat flavor, which is quite intense, rich in umami. 🤤

They are also using Lorenzo no.5 and Isolai allambrusco as a condiment for their fluffy bread. 🙂

This is the only italian ristorante in their gruop, most of them are Japanese restaurants, which quite surprised me. Because this ristorante easily won a place in my mind....

Emilia is a true gem for authentic Italian food. Every visit feels like a journey to Italy, and the quality is consistently excellent. This time, I tried a new menu item – the pete – and it was incredibly creamy and delicious. So far, I’ve had five different pasta dishes here, and not once have I been disappointed. Each one is full of flavor and cooked to perfection.

I was working for a world leading airline in middle east for 16 years so my expectation was above the standard. The staff always impress me with their warm hospitality and deep knowledge of the menu. They’re happy to explain the dishes in detail, which makes the dining experience even more enjoyable.!!!! What really stood out was the attentive service. The manager personally checked on us to ensure everything went smoothly, and the entire team showed such genuine care and consideration.

On this visit, I chose the Little Beauty Limited Edition Sauvignon Blanc to pair with my meal. It was so good that my friend and I ended up opening a second bottle! The wine quality was outstanding and paired beautifully with the food

This Italian restaurant is in the Gaysorn Towers, Bangkok. They are known for their fresh pasta. So don’t expect to find pizza there.

The menu is well thought out with the pasta and the recommended sauce pairing. There’s a small selection of appetiser and main course to complement the meal.

The special of the day is on the blackboard on the wall. The ingredients are brought in freshly and are popular with the regular diners. The items which I wanted were out of stock.

The beef carpaccio was ok. Pretty standard. But when presented on a pretty plate, the usual becomes a bit more attractive.

Pasta was good. Pici with beef ragu sauce was tasty, and portion was just right. The dish was very satisfying with the grated cheese topping.

Capellini with crab meat was also delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly. Huge chunks of crab meat topped this dry pasta. If you like pasta without sauce, this is a good choice. The pasta was tossed with a little olive oil and dried chilli. Be warned. It was spicy. I was given milk to douse the fire.

The tiramisu was delicious. And it doused the fire….
