We tried 5 different rolls and a noodle dish and a dessert - they were all well worth it, service was excellent too, but there were two standouts - ones I’d highly recommend and will definitely order again:
Avocado brûlée - a counterintuitively excellent dessert composition consisting of an avocado with a sugared brûlée crust and a savory black ice cream. The textures and flavors are perfect counterpoint and just the right sweetness (slight).
Wagyu roll (pictured) - a towering monument to gastronomic excess done with artistry and flair. It’s got every marquee ingredient you could want - foie gras, duck egg, Wagyu beef, three different kinds of caviar, and literally topped with edible gold…and it’s amazing! When we tried to correct them, it took the server coming back three times asking my partner what he originally ordered as the server was sure she was not wrong. A couple of standouts were the Yin Yang Tama Roll (yes, that’s foie gras, hotate, and a raw egg yolk and the Salmon Shoyu Tama Roll, which combines seared Norwegian salmon with a creamy foie gras sauce and ikura. Both were delicious. There is one room for improvement. The sound choice and the space.
They also serve beef. If you’re more into hearty dishes, try the Kagoshima A5 Wagyu sukiyaki. They also offer vegan options.
