Uno Mas is Spanish for one more, but more than one meal at this fantastic restaurant is required. I visited Uno Mas some years ago when it first opened and decided to give it another go yesterday. I can report that the second time was even more exceptional. What I like about Uno Mas is its mastery of tapas that covers all the basics with minor enhancements here and there. Our two-foot tapas board had us salivating even before it was placed on the table. We got cured ham, sardines, Patatas Bravas, pitted olives, calamari, bread, and grilled Padron peppers. It was a shared dish that was delicious and a joy to look at. The Unomas salad was a refreshing, citrusy bowl that was a nice complement to the meaty tapas. Sitting at the table while gazing out at Bangkok's cityscape with that array of food in front of me was an oddly calming experience. It reminded me of my Barcelona trip last year when I was people-watching from a roadside table, eating street food. Dining at Uno Mas brings the same curious energy without the crowds. Lunchtime at Uno Mas was a quiet delight. The restaurant had only a few tables occupied, and the guests engaged in light conversation, enjoying the height of the place and the cuisine itself. The non-busy period meant the staff was relaxed and ready with prompt service and a smile. Tapas is casual dining. Combine it with the easygoing demeanor of the people there, and you get a satisfying experience that calls for...
Read more3 of us went for Sunday brunch on October 5. We've all done a number of brunches in Bangkok, and we're not easily impressed.
Oh. My. God!!!
This was, by far the finest brunch we've been to on a number of levels. The theme is seafood, and the seafood on offer is fresh and outstanding. Alaskan king crab legs were huge and delicious! Maine lobster was excellent. Oysters were wonderful.
In addition to the buffet, there is an a la carte menu from which well over a dozen dishes can be ordered. Fois gras, the scallop, and the molton chocolate cake are all highly recommended. There are also dishes being passed and dishes served from carts. The paella is especially worthy of note, and the cheese selection is outstanding.
Pommery Champagne was beyond served, in addition to several cavas, red and white wine, cocktails, and Estrella Damm from Barcelona.
When not busy eating, the views are incredible.
The one thing that truly set this brunch apart from others was the relaxed atmosphere and the outstanding service provided by the staff. I wish I had gotten the names of everyone who took care of us, but special praise is due to Khun Fon, Khun Sawitree and Khun Ying. They looked after us very well and kept our glasses full.
We cannot wait to return! Thank you to...
Read moreSix years have passed since my first review of UNO MAS, and I still find myself coming back regularly. This place isn’t just a restaurant or bar for me—it’s my safe zone. Whenever life feels overwhelming, this is where I come to unwind, knowing I’ll be well taken care of. 🍷✨
The bartenders here are exceptional. A special shoutout to Khun Tum, who always finds time to chat and make me feel right at home. In fact, I’ve come to know the staff like family—they know my tastes well and always prepare excellent drinks, even though some of my favorite wines may be out of stock. 😂
The atmosphere is cozy yet refined, perfect for enjoying great tapas, wine, or a cocktail at the bar. Their Champagne Brunch every first Sunday of the month is another highlight—an indulgent feast that never disappoints! 🥂🍤
Whether it’s for a casual evening or a celebratory brunch, UNO MAS continues to be a top-tier dining destination for me. The food, drinks, and especially the warm, welcoming staff make it a place I’ll keep coming back to for...
