Plus Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Patong

I had one of the WORST DINING EXPERIENCE of my life at Plus in Phuket. The service was beyond disastrous—rude, slow, and shockingly unprofessional. But the real nightmare began when I sent back my burger because the meat was completely overcooked and dry. Instead of an apology or a proper replacement, the chef stormed out of the kitchen, yelling, and literally brought out a raw piece of meat on a plate to "prove" that it was fresh.

This level of arrogance and disregard for customers is absolutely unacceptable. A restaurant that treats its guests like this does not deserve a single customer. The atmosphere was tense, the staff was dismissive, and the entire experience left a terrible impression. I strongly urge anyone considering this place to stay far away—there are plenty of great restaurants in Phuket, and this is definitely NOT...

Plus Bar and Restaurant is a cozy little establishment, with an extensive menu, situated directly across the road from the northern end of Patong Beach. Being dinner time and feeling a bit peckish I decided to call in for one of my favourite dishes, Massaman curry. I opted for chicken and accompanied my dish with a Mojito cocktail as it was happy hour (150 baht instead of 200 baht). The Massaman was satisfactory, not the best I've had in Patong, with the portion size reasonable. Potato's had that reheated tang which was the only real downside. The biggest disappointment of my visit, however, was the cocktail. Probably the weakest I've ever had. It tasted like water. Did they forget to add the rum? I had planned to have two or three drinks there but the cocktail put me right off so I left immediately after...

WOW... Where do I start?!?! My family of 5 were there 8/11/2024 for dinner. What a FANTASTIC place to eat and to have a few drinks with a beautiful view of Patong beach.
