Staying at Graceland Resort made us visit all nearby eateries and restaurants. And Belgian Beer Cafe Graceland also known as Sunset Beer Cafe definitely deserves a review.
To start, we were a relatively big group - 6 people. Part of our party was an academic lecturer from an international hospitality university. And another person was on Gluten Free diet. So we were a picky bunch.
Most important thing, we loved it! The atmosphere, attentive service and a choice of dishes, both international and Thai, allowed all of us to choose their favourites. Wine list was elegant and impressive, with European and South American vinos.
Live music was definitely adding to the cultural experience. Our favourite evening was when they played local folk music, all dressed in national garments, and the percussion instruments reminded big boats.
My personal favourite dish was a soft shell crab. Light, satisfying and interesting. Another star was the fish with black pasta, presumably the colour comes from the ink of squid.

Read moreVery poor service. I walked in and several wait staff were near the cashier’s podium. I had to ask about seating. After my order was taken, it took quite some time for the food to be brought out. When it arrived, the main course was served with the appetizer. The food was actually good other than the main course temperature. Will I...
Read moreCafe lacking on quality drinks. This is coming from an American. We love our coffee. Especially coming from Seattle where Starbucks HEADQUARTERS are located, I’m giving a complete honest review based on knowledge and experience.
First Mocha was too strong. Mochas are suppose to be one of the sweetest drinks. The 2nd one remade with requested more coco. Still also way way too strong. Switched to Latte and still way too strong. I would recommend Cafe Amazon right around the corner to be honest if you’re looking for coffee that is just right.
Good food, but prices a little on the (higher)end for what they were and their quality.
Service was great. They were attentive and respectful and willing to help. 5/5
