The Deck Beach Club Patong — Restaurant in Patong

I’m really upset about some situations that is happening with the bar of THE DECK. Is not the first time that this happens and I’m quiet tired to speak about this with the people of the bar: The quality of the drinks it’s quiet precarious.

I’m a brand Lover of Marriott and that’s the reason why I always come back to the properties, bars and restaurants arround the world. But this annoying Situation with the quality of the Drinks really strained my patience.

Today 23/03/22 I arrived to the DECK and I asked for two drinks: one gin tonic and one mojito, and literally both drinks were almost pure water, ice and Lemon.

I know the standard of quality of the bars of Marriott and I know when a drink is well done and I have to say that feels like THE DECK is scamming us, selling us water and ice with the prices of a Drink.

I’m really tired of this situation because is not the first time that this is happening and I really want to encourage you to take actions and recheck the quality and standards of THE DECK and make a evaluation of your procedures of the bar.

I have nothing more to say and I honestly hope that my experience In the deck will be different in the future because right now I’m feeling you are stealing...

This would have been an easy 5 star, but the service was terrible.

The woman who was assigned to our area never once came to ask about ordering anything. When we asked for menu's, she just pointed and said they are over there.

When we asked to order, it was like we were interrupting her.

A different sever delivered our food. We gave her our credit card, and she took care of it.

After a couple of hours, we wanted to order additional drinks but couldn't get her attention to come and get our order. So I went to the bar directly, then she came over and very rudely said that the area is for servers only. There were no other people at the bar but her and 2 other servers.

After getting our drinks ordered, she walked away and never returned.

The irony is she stood less than 20 feet from us the whole time doing basically nothing while everyone else was working

The views from the infinity pool were great. The pool was great.

I went to The deck beach club without expectations, but it was one of the best experience beach club in Patong. We got free flow drink for 1 hour and the staff are very kind, they kept insisting me to order to make the most of the free flow hour. Mai was excellent as a customer service agent, she kept checking on us if we need anything even before she went for her break! So sweet! We ordered 2 appetizers, calamari and grilled salmon with rice (served as a big portion) and 2 main courses (tiger crying steak, grilled sea bass) the food was great especially the steak served with Thai chili sauce.
