First time tried this restaurant, called up for food delivery and after passing out the menu we have decided to move forward and give it a try . We ordered the what I believed called “ Ghorme sabzi ? “ then also something else with tomato and eggplants ( maybe was called miza ghasemi ? ) . They got our order and less than 10 minutes we have been informed that foods were on the way by Grab . The price comparison to other Persian / Iranian restaurants in bkk was a bit more expensive but I must admit after I saw the size of the food I must say it was all worth it every penny we have spent . The amount of rice and stew was really good for 2 people and so tasty . The green curry with beef really tasted awesome so the eggplant tomato appetizer . We also ordered some Naan which was freshly backed . We simply loved it . But one thing I noticed was that in the middle of the night we encountered ourselves with severe thirst which I strongly believe it was the use of MSG In the food maybe ? So if the owners are reading this I must say Thank you very much for great food and for sure next time when we visit bkk for sure will order from your restaurant but please if you use MSG in your food which I believe you do to make it less as we live in Thailand and we clearly know the aftermath of each time eating foods that contained MSG which brings you thirst no matter what ( specially after dinner time ) . Once again thank you very much for great food and online service . See you soon again at your restaurant 💕 ( since we stayed at hotel so we didn’t have plate to take a nice photo but we did...
Read moreSome menu items are not as pictured in the menu, one particular item was about 1/2 the size of what is pictured. When complained, the worker just said "yea sorry, we know, its how it is here". They even admit that they regularly get customers complain about this exact issue, but according to them "that's just how it is". No shame! And no offer to resolve it - you just have to accept it.
When confronted the owner/manager about it, he got loud and argumentative and insisted that just because the menu picture shows a certain item, doesn't mean it has to be served like that. (Obviously a nonsensical argument. That is the purpose of pictures.)
He kept insisting that it tasted good, which it did, but that's not the point. The point is that the item brought was about 1/2 the size of what was expected.
That interaction, and how they handled customer's complaint made this visit unpleasant and disappointing. This erased any enjoyment from the rest of the meal.
For reference, the picture I included is of if the item they brought (with one end already eaten), in the menu the zaatar bread is pictured the full size of the tray. Yet they claim this is...
Read moreI was super excited to try this persian restaurant. From checking the instagram it looked like the chef is Iranian and since I had good experience in Phuket I gave it a try as soon as I knew about it. First of all the environment has a cool vibe. It’s an open air food court with humble but beautiful lighting. No music which even better. Now I was almost disappointed to see how small the persian restaurant kitchen is but still wished for the best. We ordered Chelo Kebab, Zereshk Polo with Chicken plus Shirazi salad and 2 Doogh (the yogurt drink with mint). The Chelo kebab had the potential to be good since the kebab was not bad but seemed under cooked. The rice was a little oily but NO BUTTER! The Zereshk Polo with chicken was made with good ingredients but was missing the biggest part! The Saffron! A zereshk polo with chicken without Saffron is like a car with no gas. The Dooghs were relatively good but the amount of vegetables were way too much and i had to take the most out with a fork. We asked for salt, black pepper and butter but only salt was available! I cant believe serving a chelo kebab without butter....
