My recent experience at Jam Jam Chinatown during happy hour was incredibly disappointing. I was excited to partake in the happy hour specials, but the atmosphere took a turn for the worse when the female staff exhibited a sudden change in attitude. Despite the "buy one get one free" policy not being clearly outlined on the menu, I decided to order a Whisky Sour, only to be informed that I could only receive the exact same drink for the promotion. The cocktails, supposedly crafted with happy hour quality, were disappointingly mediocre. In light of this experience, I strongly advise against visiting Jam Jam Chinatown for happy hour. The restaurant is actually, the hotel's breakfast dining room, and feels just like that, which is perfectly fine, but because of it, one expects more effort.
We were 3, celebrating a friend's birthday; besides us, there was just another couple celebrating a birthday as well. Roots and grains salad for starer, which photographs great but was tasteless and hard, and for main course, a burger that arrived cold while the fries were way too hot. Our shared dessert was Bangkok Brownie; the brownie itself was good, the ice cream, on the other hand felt like it overstayed the freezer. not all gloom and doom though, my friend had fish tacos which he liked and good drink too. but all in all, in my opinion, isnt worth the high price...
