Visited this place after lunch, stomach was quite full so didn't get to order much to try. Saw this pretty interesting dessert shop on IG and decided to check it out. I didn't expect the place to be smaller than I thought there wasn't many seats available and got like 2 tables outdoor where you have to sit under the sun. Had a look at the menu and took some time in deciding what to eat because quite tempted to order a few items but I knew I won't be able to finish it. Eventually looked at the word signature on the menu and ordered one each of the pudding and the drink. For a pudding and a drink I thought the price of 196 Baht is rather on the high side. And when the food was collected the portion didn't look that big as well enough for 2 to share. First had the signature goji berry pudding. It surprised me because the pudding was thick and nice and mildly sweet. Initially I had the perception that it might be a beancurd called a pudding but it's definitely thicker and nicer than beancurd. Unfortunately couldn't taste goji berry taste except for seeing a few in the centre of the pudding. Then had the fresh kamquat juice which I thought was nice and refreshing on such a hot day and especially after a heavy lunch as well. The staff seemed to be shorthanded the desserts finished by previous customers were just stacked and an untidy sight on the tables until halfway throughout my meal the staff started coming out to clean maybe because I was taking a lot of photos. Overall quite nice desserts still trying to convince and justify for the price with the quality. Still worth visiting to give a try. If I have the chance to come back maybe will...
Read moreI honestly wish I could give this place a 6/5 if I could. Out of all of the places I had visited in not only Yaowarat but also Bangkok in general, I simply cannot wait to return here should I ever have the privilege to find myself in Bangkok again 🥲💛
I found myself here on a weekday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t too busy, especially since I came here after multiple Instagram reels recommend this place as a popular dessert spot in the neighborhood. Immediately as I walked in, I could just feel the warmth, kindness and welcoming tone from everyone.
This meant a lot to me because I had a horrible experience earlier at Gu Long Bao in Song Wat, it rained, and my phone was actively dying. They presented me with the menu, offered to charge my phone for me, and helped me decide on something to eat.
Then the food, oh the food came out. 😭 I ordered their signature Banoffee Pudding and it’s crispy and crunchy on the outside, while simultaneously silky smooth on the inside. Every bite is an explosion of flavor and texture. The peanut and banana complimented each other perfectly, and the whipped cream with pudding just melts in your mouth to tie all the ingredients together.
When I tell you the entire experience almost made me burst into tears (of joy) when this literally feels like a safe haven/ oasis/ reset after a bad day. Big big shoutout to everyone who worked there on May 26th. You’ve honestly turned my day around and I cannot be more grateful 🥹
A place with great dessert, staffed with people that care. Thank you for showing me Thailand’s famous warmth and hospitality 💛💛 See...
