B-E-S-T Japanese Ramen shop on this planet, at this price point. Where's MICHELLIN? Come taste it. The soups are marvelous.-complex and genuine. These are the types of ramen that usually go for 300 to 450 baht. Here they are 150 to 220. It is better than 99.99% of ramen restaurants. The soup was thick and delicious. Real slow cooked broth, unlike a lot of other ramen shops. I know the difference. I make soup myself, and I took a class on it. You can choose light, medium, or thick(thick soup is yummy, salty, and oily just like in Japan) soup. But if you prefer a lighter taste, then choose light or medium soup. The meat portions are generous if you order the 200b ramens. Decor, service all excellent. Obviously, the young chef takes great care and pride in his work. It is especially difficult to maintain the standards and business during covid and Ukraine war times. I hope this restaurant gets noticed and they will open in Bangkok and other places, or become a chain restaurant in places like Central Mall. There are lots of fancy drinks, too. If you are in Phuket town, you MUST visit here. Also, the Thai beef noodles shop Sakuntong opposite the road is excellent. Two great, inexpensive restaurants opposite each other. My favorite is the spicy sesame KARA tonkotsu ramen. #2 is AOGAMI signature tonkotsu ramen. Shoyu ramen is very good, too. I really wanted to try the chicken Shio ramen (I think it was unavailable at that time). You can choose the soup 1)light, 2) normal or 3)thick. 3)Thick is quite oily (just like in Japan), but I always choose 3. yummy. I do find one bowl of ramen not quite enough if you have a big appetite and you're hungry. So you might have to order a small side order, or I hope they let you order a bit extra soup and noodle for say, 50 to 60 baht. Too bad I can't find any place this good in Bangkok...

Enjoy Aogami Special - Phuket's Finest Bowl of Ramen!

If you're looking for a delicious bowl of Japanese ramen in Phuket, Aogami Ramen is the perfect spot to experience authentic Japanese flavors. Their Aogami Special was an exquisite experience. Its broth had a rich, velvety texture that enveloped the taste buds with its deep flavor. You can choose the richness of the broth if you prefer a lighter broth. You can even pick how you'd like your noodles to be cooked. For me, I always go for the 'harigane' style—hard and firm. One simply must try their chashu and kakuni (braised pork); they are absolutely delicious! The pork was so tender and juicy, it just melted in my mouth. If you are in Old Phuket Town, you must try...

You can get both ramen and bubble tea here! Ramen is decent, Tonkotsu broth is alright, noodles too soft for me as I prefer a bit more bite and chew. Fresh garlic comes in tiny sealed plastic bags... Pricing is reasonable, imo not expensive for what you'll get. I try the fried chicken wings and they are not bad at all (my favorite place for those? - Sekai no Yamachan in BKK) Bubble tea can be ordered and they are reasonably priced. I ask for less sweet and is still too sweet for me, typical of the Thai style bubble tea though. Parking can be difficult for cars as you'll have to find a road side...
