Went on Monday evening around 8pm and there were still seats for 2. If you are going in a group, you might have to wait.

We ordered their special and a Khao Soi and a crispy fried wanton skin with minced meat.

For the Special Dark Sauce noodle, the initial few bites taste interestingly refreshing. However, after having a bit more makes the taste too overwhelming. Too much, sour, sweet but not fragrant.

The Khao Soi was worse- while it came w a chicken drumstick, the noodle was not chewy, soup was lukewarm and diluted. The pickled veg was also tasteless.

The first few bites into the fried wanton skin was outstanding. The crispy skin and the minced meat with the sauce. However, its the same sauce as the noodle.

The redeeming factor? The 2 Singha we ordered...

This is a nice Thai food restaurant that serves a moderate variety of dishes. It's a small restaurant and a little on the gritty side with electric fans working hard to keep customers somewhat cool. I tried the needle soup dish with pork and meatballs, and it was ok, but not my favourite, a bit too spicy. The best dishes for me were the prawn and pork dumplings, and the fried spring rolls. They also serve a dry noodle soup, with the liquid on the side. They can get very busy in peak times, and a 5-10 minutes wait is possible. There is an upstairs bathroom that's adequate. No one speaks English, but they have good photos of all dishes and that works fine. It's not expensive and well worth a try when visiting the nearby and busy Chinatown. Happy to visit again....

This Thai restaurant gets very busy at noon but is much quieter at night. It’s a small space, so expect to wait a while during peak hours. The place is quite hot, with electric fans doing their best to keep things cool. While the prices are cheap, the portions are small, so ordering side dishes is a good idea. This makes it a decent spot if you’re planning to try multiple places in the area. I had the dark soy sauce noodles and the bouncy ball mix tom yum. Both were very salty—adding soup can help, but it changes the original flavor. Overall, it’s worth a visit if you’re in the area, but I’d rate it 3.8/5.
