I was excited about trying this restaurant after reading the reviews. I sat there alone around 8 pm. It was a Monday night and the restaurant seemed a little empty so I assumed everything would be perfect. That was not the correct assumption.

The food was excellent, but I was quite appalled with the service. Even though I waited longer than normal for the waitress to come to me, I will say that the experience started off well. Unfortunately, I never saw my waitress again after she brought out my appetizer. The host (who I later found out was the assistant manager) was the one brought my main dish out once I was ready for it. I had to ask for a knife even though I ordered the steak and after that no one came to my table until it was time for the check. I was hoping to order another cocktail (because it was really good) but I never got the opportunity.

After I completed my meal I sat there with the dirty plate for over 20 minutes before the host asked if I wanted the check. When I asked what happened to my waitress I couldn’t be offered an explanation. The table was never cleared nor was I offered anything else for the rest of the night. When I asked to speak to the manager I was informed that he was the assistant and no one else was there. I couldn’t fully express my concerns with him due to a slight language barrier but he could easily see I was upset, but nothing followed.

It’s really disappointing that the bad service overshadowed everything because the food was...

Very disappointing. There are much better options. The fact that it is completely empty on Xmas eve says it all. The service level borders incompetent and for this level of restaurant it is totally unacceptable. It is as if it was the first night that our server was handling western clients. She was not able to explain the menu other than recommending Pad Thai despite asking her twice to explain the menu and welcome us to the restaurant properly. We had to ask for chop sticks twice (they never brought them), brought a knife to one person when we asked for the table, offered water to only two of four people and then never refilled it. They cleared the table 1 dish at a time and when they cleaned the table, half of it was left untidy. The best part is that our daughter did not like the strong flavor of her drink so she returned it and asked for another drink. They charged for the first drink. We asked about it when they bill arrived but they insisted to charge us the 155 bhat. Great business decision. They is the way to maintain an undeserved Michelin recommendation. Food was mostly slightly above average. Go to Issaya Siamese Club. It is terrific and service...

A fine Thai restaurant in the middle of Bangkok business district. With welcoming hospitality, finest cuisine and easy elegant atmosphere, Baan Suriyasai promises to unwind any guest visiting.

The restaurant is a renovated historical rocal residence. Even though it is located in the busiest area of Bangkok, the ambiance inside is so leisurely relaxing. It serves royal Thai cuisines. Every plates are cooked following the original royal recipe. The food were tasty. Besides, the vibe is flawless like dining in a lush garden.

Apart from the restaurant, there is a gorgeous bar upstairs opening in the evening. It is finely decorated with a classy style. So impressive! On the opposite of the restaurant located the elegant tea room. An afternoon tea set is served from...

The services were absolutely exceptional, and the food was truly exquisite—perfect for hosting my international business guests. They were thoroughly impressed. The menu exudes sophistication, with a meticulous attention to detail that highlights the craftsmanship behind each dish. Every item is prepared using royal recipes. The Tom Yum Rover Prawn (a traditional style Tom Yum Goong) is a must-try, as are the Five-Spice Stew with medium-boiled eggs. I particularly enjoyed the desserts, including the Raspberry Jelly-filled Lychee in rose syrup, Coconut Milk Ice Cream, and Mahachanok Mango Ice Cream with an array of toppings. Adjacent to the restaurant is a stylish bar under the same ownership, offering an elegant and luxurious setting for a relaxing evening.

An afternoon tea set is served from 2.00-6.00 pm.
